Though I do love our theater it could use some work. Auditorium 9 has a hole in the screen that has been there for years with no attempts to fix it. They could also do a better job of cleaning frequently touched surfaces. The doors are disgusting and covered in dirt. read more

This is why movie theaters are becoming extinct. Stinks like rotting fish as you walk in the one door that is unlocked when it's 24* outside. No one greets you at the door, nary a ticket seller or taker. When you order concessions it's basically self serve, they hand you a full bag of popcorn and ask you to add the butter/oil making it impossible to evenly coat the salty bag. Drinks are also self serve, both counters were filthy. The seats are the WORST and smallest seats I've ever sat in forcing me to rotate frequently to find a comfy spot. The sound system is weak and is in need of an update. Wouldn't be my first choice to watch a movie. read more

Me and my friends came in to see Evil dead rise. I went up to buy my ticket and the lady loudly asked me if me and my friends were 21. We said no and she then said "ok are you 17 with ID?" As I was holding my ID out for her. Then we get into the theater and sit down. Not even 5 minutes goes by and her, along with another worker (possibly the manager) walks up to us (ONLY me and my friends, nobody else in the theater) and asks to see our tickets, and makes us pull them out to check. Even though we JUST bought tickets directly from her. I felt targeted and embarrassed. One star. read more

We always have an awesome date at the movie! After 19 years of marriage we still enjoy the delicious popcorn and coke! The seats are comfortable and the staff is quick to get your snacks. The prices are slightly high but your getting great sound, picture and snacks so it all evens out. Stop here for sure, it's worth it read more

Well, this is the only movie theatre in Findlay, so really it doesn't matter the quality. Upon arrival on a Monday evening, no staff were at the ticket desks. All tickets were available for purchase at the concession stand. The staff did post signs directing customers to the appropriate location. Staff was friendly and the theaters were clean. The seats were not the most comfortable, but I've seen worse. Ticket prices were comparable to other theaters I've been to, and concessions (like most places) were overpriced. If I'm in Findlay again, I'll be back. But then again, there isn't another option? read more

I showed up at 9:30 to get a popcorn and although 8 mockers were still showing, they had closed the concessions. 4 employees walked by my but moved away and averted eye contact so they didn't have to tell me. I stood there for 5 minutes while everyone ignored me. Chickens. Rude. Poor customer service. No one ever did say anything to me at all. read more

I like that you can walk up to the counter, get your movie ticket, order drinks, popcorn, hotdogs or snacks.

Always understaffed and overpriced. Better get there an hour before the show starts if you want to see the beginning of the movie. I will be going to the Shannon theater in Bluffton from now on. Tickets are $4 and popcorn is a fraction of the carmike price. read more

Fantastic digital picture in the theatre. Seating was clean and comfortable. Temperature in the theatre was fine. Popcorn was a little cold, soda tasted good. Typical prices for movie theatre grub. Well worth a visit to catch a flick. read more

I remember this being pretty fancy back when it was first owned by Carmike. Unfortunately, over the last handful of years, I've noticed the place slowly falling apart. Whether it is an ownership thing, or management, I don't know; but I get the feeling that they are simply getting what sales they can without putting much money into upkeep. I've experienced dim projection bulbs on multiple occasions in multiple auditoriums. I don't mean a little dim, I mean make the picture dark enough that it is hard to watch. I understand that these bulbs are quite expensive, but I feel picture quality is rather important for a theater. In one experience, I was able to sit through a movie with a speaker behind me showing signs that it had blown. With the last experience; Walking into the auditorium, it smelled like smoke and was musty. In one row alone of that auditorium, 6 of 15 seats had broken arm rest/cup holders, the "good" row of course. I also noticed that many of them were rather stained. Staff I have interacted with are friendly enough, and the popcorn is good enough to take home (if any left). No complaints on those. With a good effort on refurbishment, I think this theater would be just fine. read more

i was away on business and looking for something to do when i was out of work. decided to see a movie on my own. this theater was less than 5min from my hotel (drury inn) so i purchased my ticket ahead of time on fandango. couldn't believe what a price difference from where I'm originally from near Philly! like $5 cheaper! hopped in the car and rode over to this hidden place. when i pulled up i thought it was so cute compared to what i'm used to. i walked in and was expecting to find a ticket machine where i could insert my card and my prepurchased ticket would print out. to no avail. i had to pick up my ticket at concession! granted it was a tuesday night but still. inside theater 3, the chairs were ok but no leaning back. the armrests went up so that's a good thing. sound quality and picture was good. if i'm ever back in the area and looking for something to do with my downtime, i'll revisit. read more

The Only theater in Findlay so not much choice unless you want to drive. Everything is fine except the seating - it stinks to high heaven!!! They are Hard, doesn't lean back or move, not comfortable at all!!! They need to switch them out for the new and improved versions if they want to stay competitive! read more

Only gave 1 star because that's the lowest. Worst theater... very dirty, took forever to purchase tickets because none of the scanners work. Customer service was great. They just have to work with shotty equipment. The seats in the main theater were broken. They are not going to upgrade to the recliner type seats either. I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Terrible. Arrived late admit just five minutes before movie but I could not get just tickets and had to wait in concession line. I asked if I could just quickly buy tickets only and they said no. Then someone at the front desk said tickets only but when we turned there was already a line there. Then we waiting at our concession line and decided to leave a we were already five minutes after the movie and not knowing how long it would take. Oh there was one line we waiting in and they finally opened two other tills and it was then a free for all. Over priced just like any other theater. Bathroom cleanliness could use some work. Excellent stadium seating and great digital screenings.

We were watching starwars and about half way through the projector shut off. We went to the desk and they turned it back on. About 15 minutes later it shut off and when I went to the desk they said they were up there fixing it. After a couple minutes we got tired of it and went back to the desk to find out what theater the same movie that started half an hour later was in. We had to switch theaters and watch part of the movie we had already seen. VERY disappointed. read more

The picture quality is not always the best, but this theater gets its five stars completely based on their employees. Never have I felt more welcome at a movie theater. I'm surprised by the negative reviews, and I am curious if they just arrived on off-days. I have a Movie Pass and have been there 23 times in the last three months. Sure Tuesdays and some weekend nights are a little crazy, but if you are patient with them, they will be patient with you. I am not a very social person, but I feel comfortable engaging in small talk with them. I have been to other theaters with workers who clearly do not want to be there or do not care about you. I really find myself enjoying going to this theater. Maybe those who are giving negative reviews should try being nicer? read more

New Year's Eve 2013 went to see a movie, ordered a large diet coke. They were out of diet coke! This is the third time I've gone to see a movie during a busy time and the concession was out of diet coke. They had plenty of all other fountain drinks, poor management, they obviously didn't learn from their previous mistakes that diet coke is a popular drink!!!! read more
