I've never been to this Fairground before and I have to say it was nice, tidy, and of a decent size. I'm used to parking in "pot-holey" fields filled with mud and the parking here was simple and convenient. While I'm not a big crafter, this was a fun excursion for my friend and I. All of the Field houses had booth after booth of crafters. I did make a few small purchases and was quite happy. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Entering and Exciting the grounds were simpl. Would I return? Absolutely.

This museum collection completely took me by surprise. First of all, the four hours of operation…read morewere not nearly enough so that I was forced to speed through the last 45 mins. just to say that I saw everything. Unfortunately, most of the rolling stock sits outside exposed to the harsh Ohio elements, but not all are showing the effects of time. The museum has numerous collections which were donated and are exhibited in a number of the railcars. The number of rail related artifacts must be seen to be believed; I am not exaggerating when I state that you will most likely come across an item which you have never see before. On display is the bell from the locomotive which pulled President Lincoln's funeral train. The museum has a wonderfully located rail park right in the middle of all the action and plans are underway to further develop the site. Also the gift shop has great value souvenirs such as t-shirts (loved the variety of train designs on the shirts) and caps.

The museum contains more than 3,400 original illustrations of childrens books. It's amazing the detail of illustrations and they are beautifully portrayed here. We chose the specialty flight. We like cider and sweet wines so this seemed perfect for us. All of them were good. Favorite was the ice wine and the chocolate raspberry. The sangria, the cider and the mocha were t bad. The weirdest one was the mocha. A bit too coffee forward in a wine for me. We also got the foccachia bread and oil. That was OK. Service was good. The wine was good. Really it was decent. And prices weren't bad. $15 for the flight. Not bad. Overall I'd go back and hang out. Cute place.
