First there's plenty of parking, the lot is huge and maybe not the best use of land since I've never seen it close to full. The theater used to be called a different name though essentially the main spaces are the same, just with concessions and fixtures laid out differently. Usually there isn't a line so you can buy tickets at the box office on the left side of the lobby once you enter, or at the kiosks or online (though this involves a fee). They still offer morning matinees $7.00 for standard showings and $10.00 for IMAX, which is kinda nice coming from Manhattan where it's always too expensive. Regular tickets are $11.25 for regular and $15.50 for IMAX, senior and children's discounts available. I believe most of the seating are recliner seats, which I think they updated over 5-6 years ago, pretty comfy though in recent years maybe in need of some TLC. Haven't had the concessions here so can't speak to that though unless you're a big fan of movie theater popcorn not sure there's much to critique. Bathrooms are available, pretty standard. They have a rewards program too if you're a big movie buff!

Typically we go to another theatre that's a bit closer with some better amenities (a fairly robust food, menu, a full bar, etc) but we came here because it was the only theatre in the area showing a movie we wanted to see. Gone are the days of the giant movie releases where multiple concession counters are open, so parts of the building do feel like of deserted, but it was still pretty busy for a Monday night and there was a bit of a line, though it did move pretty quickly. A lot of it is grab and go (including most hot food), so it's convenient and quick, though the quality does suffer a bit not being made to order (compared to their local chain competitor who delivers your food to your seat). I got the chicken fingers and we split some fries and they were ok. Not great but not terrible. It got the job done. We also split some popcorn which was freshly popped. I'd probably just stick to that and a soda next time. The theatres are clean and the seats themselves are recliners and pretty comfy and in good condition. Projection was good, as was the sound. Commercials/trailers were almost a half hour long which felt a bit like overkill, tho. Over all, it was fine. Not impressive enough to get us to change our regular theatre but serviceable for a visit now and again.

A group of nine (ages 15-18, including two 18-year-olds) bought tickets in advance. Two of the people drove from Woodhaven/Flat Rock specifically for this theater. When they arrived they were turned away because of a curfew/age restriction that is only posted on the exterior doors. The policy is nowhere on the website, in the app, or during the online ticket purchase process. The theater manager apologized and refunded the tickets, but that does nothing for the wasted gas, time, and trip. A restriction that stops ticket holders from entering is a fact that should be clearly disclosed before people buy tickets and drive across town or 25 minutes for some--not discovered only when they reach the doors. I miss it so much. What started as siding on some poles in a field has flourished into a great spot for a cheap night out with family and friends. I'd recommend paying the $4 extra to bring your own dinner and then garnish it with some popcorn and snacks from their truck. Just thinking about this place makes me so happy and I wish they would come open one in NC by the beach.

About 20 mins into the movie about 10 of them came and sat up front in empty seats. Talking, playing on their phones and running in and out. About an hour into the movie there were about 25. Couldn't hear parts of the movie. Took two cops to get them out. Some of them threatened movie watchers who shooshed them. We will never go back.

Going to the movies is fun again at Emagine!…read more I recently embraced my inner child with a trip to see Toy Story 5 with a group, and I'm glad I discovered a new place that I like! Located just off of Michigan Ave in Saline, Emagine combines comfy seats, reasonable prices on popcorn, and plenty of other snacks for a night at the movies that is a real night out. The friends that we went with even got a drink along with their "encore" service, which brought a second drink in the middle of the movie. I forgot how much I enjoyed getting lost in the plot of a good movie, and if it includes pretzel bites and pizza, even better!
