Another great event.

Let me be right up front: I'm a drive-in addict. I have been going to the drive-in since I was six years old. When I got my license, I kidnapped my friends in my dad's pickup truck and took them to the drive-in. Now that I'm a parent, I bring my kids when family friendly movies are showing. If I have the night off from work, I'm at the drive-in. The good: location. Close enough to a city to have ease of access, far enough down the road to avoid noise and light pollution. Clean: plenty of trash cans and clean-up crews to keep the lot tidy. Shows: the movies are new releases and organized. (One screen for adult fare, while the second screen for children's films.) Lot: the owners update something every year. (New screens last year) The Cantina: a fair-type stand behind the concession booth with treats like snow cones and funnel cakes. The bad: bathrooms. In desperate need of a complete overhaul. The second screen only has one port-a-potty, and that is ONLY unlocked during weekends. So if you have kids, you will have to traverse lot 2, lot 1, to get to the concession stand and it's bathrooms. Security: lax about making sure people turn off their car lights, keep their foot off the brake pedal, and don't block other people's view of the screen with their van trunk lids. My kids and I enjoy coming for events such as the Halloween trunk or treat. My daughter loves the blue icees, my boys love the kids' snack packs. Myself, I'm a funnel cake junkie. It's nice to be able to sit in my comfortable car, with a seat big enough for my backside, my own temperature and volume controls, and in my pajamas. Very laid back theatre with good movies, but a need to renovate.

Super fun drive-in that we always hit up when camping at Maumee Bay SP. Nostalgia to the max. Well run, highly recommended.

I want to give an attaboy to the guy that was keeping the SUV's and trucks parked in the correct areas, he did an awesome job and was right on top of it.

As a neighboring business owner, I've had the opportunity to see how the Ford Wyoming Drive-In…read moreoperates on a regular basis--and it's been nothing but positive. They run a tight, organized operation, even during their busiest nights. Traffic flow is handled well, the property is kept clean, and everything is managed in a way that shows real professionalism. That matters a lot when you're right next door. What stands out most is the consistency. Night after night, they create a smooth, enjoyable experience for their customers while still being respectful of the surrounding businesses and community. That balance isn't easy to maintain, but they do it well. It's great to have a well-run, family-friendly entertainment spot like this as a neighbor. They're a strong asset to the area, and I'd absolutely recommend checking them out.

I love this place, BUT…read more.. I come somewhat frequently and would love to give this 5 stars. It's a gem in a lot of ways and seemingly pretty well run. Screens are good, in and out is good, viewing angles are good. BUT you WILL have problems with people leaving headlights on and staff is not proactive enough about monitoring for this and stopping it. I left last night after having a movie ruined by people in front and behind me leaving lights on for an hour or more. I have seen them tell people to turn off lights, but more often I have to get out of my car and have the uncomfortable experience of knocking on windows to ask myself. It's an issue almost every time I go. There needs to at least be a number to call to notify staff so they can handle it. It sucks because I really do love this place otherwise.

No alcohol allowed! But snacks and NA drinks are ok. They have a concession stand or you can order pizza from inside the arena. Port a potties are available unless you want to walk in the arena. While the front rows are reserved for cars and the further rows for SUVs and trucks, it can still be difficult to see if you have a big vehicle in front of you. Occasionally, someone will also leave their headlights on. I found that prices have risen since I last visited, but it's still a great deal for a fun night!

They allow you to bring your own snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages and the spaces are large enough to accommodate camp chairs if you prefer not to sit in your car. We ended up throwing a bunch of throw pillows in the trunk and had a great experience. There is a concession stand and the restaurant in the hockey facility allows you to order food, which we did. The food wasn't impressive and was fairly overpriced for what it was, but they had many options, just not very much for dietary restrictions, so definitely recommend bringing some snacks/eating beforehand. From the perspective of urban planning, this is such an ingenious use of a parking lot that otherwise doesn't get as much use in the summer months. We love land uses that create space for people to gather and enjoy entertainment without having to change the overall location!
