A group of nine (ages 15-18, including two 18-year-olds) bought tickets in advance. Two of the people drove from Woodhaven/Flat Rock specifically for this theater. When they arrived they were turned away because of a curfew/age restriction that is only posted on the exterior doors. The policy is nowhere on the website, in the app, or during the online ticket purchase process. The theater manager apologized and refunded the tickets, but that does nothing for the wasted gas, time, and trip. A restriction that stops ticket holders from entering is a fact that should be clearly disclosed before people buy tickets and drive across town or 25 minutes for some--not discovered only when they reach the doors. The first two rows of seats seem to be the only ones that are lazy boy recliners but the rest of theatre does have very comfort leather rockers with plenty of leg room, the rockers arm rest also lift to create that couch feel for dates. Nachos are 5 bucks so a lil bit cheaper then bigger theatre's. Security is also very tight and visible, in the lobby, outside the theatre and even in the actual theatre itself. They even watch and listen for rambunctious guest who are interrupting the movie or causing other issues and promptly remove them. I'd definitely return in the future.

We were ordering from the concession stand with about 30 other moviegoers and I've never seen such professionalism, expert handling (imagine a timer set for each fryer/order, restocking, and interacting with customers all at once), and friendliness when cooking up and delivering order after order. The food was great, everyone was happy and the wait was minimal given how well she was managing the food prep. The theatre is always clean and is usually our go-to theater living in Detroit. All together Emagine has the best theaters, but Woodhaven is definitely the best of the best.
