I recently visited Vanz Brick Oven Pizza, and my experience was very concerning. The wait time was extremely long, and many tables were left dirty, which caused delays and even led to some customers walking out. What stood out most to me was the cleanliness. I noticed what appeared to be a rat in the restaurant, which was very alarming. On top of that, the water served to us had a yellowish tint, which made me uncomfortable drinking it. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my food, and the overall environment did not feel sanitary. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and it didn't appear that the waitresses were being treated well, which added to the negative experience. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed and concerned about the hygiene and management of this place. the wings were good though read more

I had an awful experience at Vans Brick Oven Pizza. The water they served looked yellow, which was already a terrible start. The service was horrible, staff ignored customers, and I watched multiple tables walk out because no one ever came to help them. My pizza arrived pitch black like it had been burnt beyond recognition, and somehow it was also cold at the same time. To make things even worse, I saw a rat run across the restaurant floor, which was honestly shocking. Overall, a really disappointing visit and definitely not a place I'd recommend. save yourselves!!! read more

We were staying at the lake and grabbed a few pizzas. Bugsy, pepperoni and sausage, and godfather. All were great! The crust is tasty and crispy on the bottom not soggy. The staff that took the order and helped us was great as well. I'm from Fort Worth and I would put this small turn place up against any of them. Very delicious pizza and nicely crisp wings. Wings took a little while and came out after pizza. Wish we had them as an appetizer but they do take a bit longer to cook. Still well worth it. Service was great. Sadie was pleasant and attentive. Only complaint is the ranch. It sucked. Didn't taste homemade and was creamy not buttermilk ranchy. I'll just bring mine next time. I want to love this place ... my pizza is usually great! Unfortunately, they always burn my husband's pepperoni pizza so we don't order from here as much. Last time they burned all of the pizzas and were very polite about refunding our money after we sent the manager pics, so I must say the service is definitely on point. They have a nice vibe and ambiance too. Again, we usually get good pizzas, I just wish they could stop burning my husband's. read more

Stood there for the 15 minutes and no one approached us, finally a patron said seat yourselves, which we did . Another 15 minutes and again no service, no greeting , no nothing. I'd give zero stars but not an option. I understand busy but a simple greeting would have been nice! read more

Great atmosphere and service. Just walking in, it's bright and fresh. They had the jukebox playing too which made it feel fun. I've had better pizza though. Not that it was bad, just not exceptional. On a different night, I had the Italiano. That was pretty good. It had all the makings of an Italian sub on a really nice bun. I'd give that 5 stars. They also have a number of draft beers and liquor. My server actually made a good scratch margarita. I will go back. read more

We stopped in today en route to San Antonio. I am so glad we did. This is by far the best pizza crust I've ever had. We ordered the Rueda which consists of carne asada, jalapeños, thin slices of fresh avocado and just a hint of sauce. It was topped with fresh lime slices which we squeezed on to each piece. The crust was so light and flavorful, not doughy at all. We also had the side salad which was crisp and fresh with a yummy vinaigrette dressing. The service was amazing and the place was relaxing and very clean. I wish we had a pizzeria like this at home. read more
