I'm visiting my boyfriend in Alice, TX from Houston, TX while he is here for work. When I first arrived I was hungry and he mentioned pizza. This place pops up on Apple Maps & Google, so we check it out. Omg. Fantastic taste in the food. It did not disappoint. I really enjoyed my Buffalo Chicken (although I wish I was aware of the bacon). Regardless, it was tasty! The wings were flavorful and the ranch was delicious too. My boyfriend enjoyed his Meat Lovers pizza. We each ordered smalls and they were perfect size. Myra was extremely kind and patient. Her customer service was EXCEPTIONAL!! Give that lady a raise. She was so attentive and truly set the tone for the establishment. I admire her smile and enthusiasm while assisting customers! The ambiance was very homey and classic. You immediately smell the brick oven as you're approaching the establishment. 10/10 recommend if you're passing through or visiting. read more

Food was absolutely delicious! We had brick oven pepperoni pizza and a beef and black olive pizza from the build your own. We also tried the lemon pepper wings. They were very tasty! The service was quick! You order and pay at the hostess table and your food comes quickly! The quaint little restaurant transports you back to a mom and pop Italian bistro with red and white checkered table cloths. The smell when you walk in hits you and if you weren't hungry before you will be as soon as you take in the aroma! We will be back when we are in Alice again! read more

Freaking delicious pizza! Lots of space inside for our family, and we easily found a table. Banana pudding to go was a special treat.

The service and food in the past was pretty good. Today however, was bad. We waited about an hour and ten minutes for 12 wings and one pizza. The place did have a great deal of people, but no excuse for forgetting the orders. I believe there were ten customers that either received the wrong food or the order was not correct. Two people on the floor and I assume the owner, didn't say anything about the mixup. Not sure if we're going back. read more

Cool Place from the ambience to the super friendly staff But what really matter is the food and Texas Brick Oven definitely did not disappoint. I used to live in CT right some by the best pizza places in the United States if not the world, I've been to Rome 3 times and ate pizza there about 50 times so to say my pizza standards are high would be an understatement. But the pizza we got here really was incredible. By far the best I have had in Texas. Quality dough, cheese and ingredients cooked to perfection. Me and my wife split an Extra Large Holy Cow which was old style pepperoni to die for. Ground beef seasonable incredibly, mushrooms , and possible one more ingredient I am forgetting. Anyways it all came together beautifully. Pizza is all about balance. Too much sauce, cheese or an ingredient and it just doesn't do it for me. What a great local place to eat! I stopped here with my team for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and it did not disappoint! The interior is very casual, with wood benches and picnic tables. You order at the front, then are handed a cup to get your own drink at the back. I did see a selection of wine, but didn't pay much attention to what else was available, including which varietals. The portions are massive!!! Several of us ordered the lunch special, with a small pizza and a salad (or wings). It also comes with a drink. The salads were served pretty quickly and enough to serve as a meal. The pizza took a pretty long time to arrive, but considering it's made to order then I guess that's to be expected. When it did come out, it was also big enough to share and piping hot. One coworker ordered a large chicken salad, which was pretty much a family style salad. I would definitely recommend this place, but make sure you are not on a time crunch. read more

I ate here a couple weeks ago and it was decent. We ordered three different small pizzas. They say small but technically they're the size of a medium. The hub city grub, the Texas holy cow, and the buffalo chicken pizza. We also ordered fettuccine Alfredo. The reason I'm giving four stars is because the fettuccine Alfredo was made with spaghetti and the sauce tasted like canned alfredo. Also we added banana peppers to the Texas holy cow and they tasted like they had been sitting in kitchen sink water. The crust could've been a little crispier too. But the buffalo chicken pizza was fire!!! Highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza!!!! The sweet tea was good and I mixed it with the passion fruit juice & it made it even better. For the amount of food we ordered we only paid $48 and at Pizza Hut that's like two pizzas. read more

It took me a minute to find this place. It is of the beaten path - but only about a block. The outside reminded me of dive bar. I almost didn't go in, even though the parking lot was completely packed. I have to keep reminding myself, don't judge it by the outside. Parking is street side and in the empty lot across the road. It was not easy to find a spot. It was absolutely full. Walking in I wasn't quite sure how everything worked. You can order at the table or at the hostess stand. There are only tables. And every single chair in the house was taken. EVERY SINGLE ONE. I chose take out, though there was a cooler full of microbrewery offerings that I would have lived to sample. The menu is simple. Build a pizza or choose one of the 6 or 7 specialty pizzas. I had a 12" meat lovers. Appetizers are limited but if you pass on ordering Tater Kegs and Cheese, you have made a mistake. There are some pastas and salads but not many. It's a pizza joint you see. The pizza was great. A nice thin, crispy salty crust cooked perfectly in a brick oven. The guys all worked together to get the 30 or so orders ahead of me taken care of quickly and accurately. The star of the meal though was the Tater Kegs and Cheese. Huge tater tots with bacon bits in them with a cheddar cheese dip. The tots were rich, with bold potato flavor. When topped with the cheese dip they were so tasty that I almost drove back and got another order. They were that good. Total was around $20. It was so worth it. I just wish I could have eaten in the restaurant but it's so popular it was packed. You've got to try the place if only for the Tater Kegs and Cheese! read more

Came in for a family birthday dinner. Restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Ordered 3 medium pizzas, 2 salads, 2 drinks, 1 dozen of wings. Total was about $75. The pizzas were delicious and the wings were crispy but juicy. The garlic parmesan sauce was bomb. Then we ordered the banana cake and talk about moist!!!! Driving through Alice and craving some pizza. They were crammed packed but offered us vip seating at the bar, which was really cool because we got to see them preparing and cooking the pizza. We ordered half big city hub and half R.J.'s. We were expecting it to take a while because of the large crowd but it came out within 15 minutes. Living out here... we don't have too many choices of food that we get excited about but the pizza and wings here are BOMB! Let down? You can taste that all the food is frozen. Wings are decent just flavor is very one sided. Lemon pepper is straight lemon. Also the Alfredo is equivalent to cafeteria food. read more
