Praline Butter Cake. Small.

The ice cream is really good. Rich. Heavy. $6 and change for a small. Which seems to be the going price for ice cream these days. Lots of space inside. Tons of seating. No outdoor seating unless you walk over to Linden Square.

Looks good

Just opened today. Stopped in to try. I have eaten their ice cream from supermarkets, Walmart . Ice cream is very good with unique flavors. Nice location added in Wellesley Linden St. by Roches . Ordered a sundae regular 2 scoops. Vanilla and coffee affogato . 3 toppings allowed Kids working there still in training and understandably for 1st open. Music playing was deafening and couldn't hear, people yelling over ridiculously loud music... I took ice cream and couldn't wait to leave from the deafening music. Why so loud? How about some soothing vibes? Ice cream was very good as expected. Hot fudge was watering and did not like taste... I prefer thick hot fudge . 12.25 for regular sundae... 3.00 more than I pay at Trullys ice cream one street in Wellesley for same size sundae. Again, ice cream very good, hot fudge was awful. If in area ; worth a visit for sure. Good addition to Wellesley... but will never to compare to Baileys Ice cream of Wellesley historic past.

The ear grey is hidden by the black cherry chip. Just delish!

There were 16 regular, 6 vegan, and three special flavors on the menu board yesterday, so that's a very nice selection.

"Every day with you is like ice cream Every night you're…read moregiving me nice dreams I know what you mean, you know what I need Ice cream" (Maroon 5) The grandkids wanted ice cream for dessert, so we walked across the street after our dinner at Alta Strada and walked into J.P. Licks. Living in Connecticut, I was unfamiliar with J.P. Licks. I found out it's a Massachusetts ice cream chain with locations in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville, Newton, Wellesley, Andover, Lynnfield, and Dedham. When you walk into their colorful store, you'll see the big menu board highlighting their frozen treats - Ice Cream & Hard Yogurt Flavors, Soft & Tart Yogurt Flavors, Frappes, Smoothies, Dairy Free Drinks, Toppings, Sundaes, Splits, and more. We saw ice cream cakes and pies, ice cream sandwiches, cupcakes and so much more. They even have a coffee bar with hot breakfast & snacks like oatmeal, waffles, croissant and egg sandwiches, etc. I went into their Feature Flavors menu and was delighted to find a personal favorite - Orange Chocolate Chip "Creamy orange ice cream with soft, dark chocolate chips". It was outstanding. My wife went with a dish of Coconut Almond Chip - "Ultra coconut creamy ice cream with sweet, shredded coconut, roasted salted almonds, and semisweet chocolate chips in this chewy-crunchy textural delight". I sampled it and enjoyed it more than mine! Small cups ran over $5 apiece, so be forewarned. The young crew working at J.P. Licks was friendly and fun to chat with. We took one of their tables at the front of the store and the six of us enjoyed our excellent ice cream.

Needham Junction Ice Cream is a small seasonal ice cream shop located right by the train station,…read moreand it has a classic neighborhood feel that makes it a natural stop during the warmer months. We walked up to a simple, casual setup that is more of a quick stop for a treat rather than a place to sit and spend a long time, but the location adds a little extra charm with trains passing by while you enjoy your cone. The shop is compact and unpretentious, the kind of place that feels rooted in the community. The biggest highlight for us was the portion size and value. The servings are generous for the price, especially compared to many other ice cream shops where portions can feel smaller. The ice cream itself is satisfying, with a creamy texture and flavors that cover the classics without trying to reinvent the wheel. We appreciated the variety of regular ice cream options, which gave us enough choices to find something that fit our mood. The soft serve selection is a little more limited, so we would not come specifically expecting a huge range of soft serve combinations, but the regular ice cream options make up for it with their quality and portion size. The shop can get crowded during busy summer evenings, especially when families and people from the neighborhood stop by. Since it is a smaller setup, the line can build up quickly, but the service moves along at a reasonable pace. The staff handled the steady flow efficiently, and even with a queue, the wait did not feel excessive. Parking and the surrounding area can also feel a little hectic during peak times, so walking over or visiting during a quieter time can make the experience easier. The train passing by adds a nice sense of place, and the outdoor seating, though limited, gives you a spot to enjoy your treat before heading off. Needham Junction Ice Cream is a fun local spot that delivers exactly what you would expect from a neighborhood ice cream stand. The combination of good portions, fair pricing, and the train station atmosphere makes it a nice summer stop, even if the soft serve options are not as extensive as some other places. It is the kind of place that fits naturally into a warm evening walk or a quick treat after a day out.

Nostalgic needham ice cream spot. Not the best ice cream but good prices and selection of flavors…read more If you're in a rush done come here though because the line can take an hour +.
