Vandoozer Auto is trying to sell me a car that is literally still in the tow yard with lien paperwork. When I set up a test drive, they didn't send me to their dealership on Columbia blvd, they sent me an address to Speeds Towing, a half an hour out of my way. The car in the picture is really dirty. The interior is covered in dirt. The exterior is covered in dirt and blemishes. It's license plate light bracket is hanging down. They made literally zero effort to clean or test the car first. So much so that they haven't even taken it from the tow yard that they got it from. Oh, and they want me to take it to DEQ for them on my test drive. When I asked to verify that I had the right address, the person sent me 5 separate responses berating me. Avoid these clown at all cost. Oh, and it's illegal for a dealership sell a car at a location lot listed when applying for their dealers license, so they are definitely risking some hefty fines. read more

These guys are why used car dealers have such an unsavory reputation. They sold me a car at auction advertised as being in running & driving condition, but it has a major transmission malfunction that will require a transmission replacement. This malfunction would've been extremely obvious at road speeds, assuming they drove the car before sending it to auction, but the malfunction was not detectable through the type of inspection possible at the auction. read more

I Just bought car from here for my 21yrs old son, it was a great price. The Sale was easy and quick; Tim is great person. Tim helped us on purchase of the 2005 Camry. The used cars are not always perfect, but very good price will do make up for the few flows, if buyers are willing to fix few issues. After we purchased install two new front tires and oil changes. SCAM SCAM SCAM Just like 99% of the reviews out there, DO NOT TRUST!!!! I saw a Craigslist listing for a cute little subbie and I knew it was too good to be a true. I was in contact with someone from this lot scheduling a time to come out and test drive. I didn't even think to look at the reviews until a family member suggested I looked into it. Once I read all the reviews I asked the sales person (they never gave me their name) if I could take it to my mechanic as I started to feel super sussed out and their attitude IMMEDIATELY changed. I am in very DESPERATE need of a car but I'm soooooo not willing to risk buying a car that's possibly gonna need a few grand put into it to make it worthwhile. DO NOT BUY VEHICLES FROM THESE GUYS!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY please listen to me and save yourself the trouble. I bought a van from them, they gave me the wrong title for the vehicle. I went to register it in Boise and then I found out the vin on the vehicle did not match the vin on the title. The owner ended up holding my title hostage, and said he wouldn't send it back until I sent him the wrong one he gave me first. I almost had to get lawyer, I ended having to drive down to Portland to exchange it. It ended up being a 6 month process putting me out of work. If y'all could see the messages this idiot sent me or the conversations on the phone we had, you would be shocked. Things he would say to me were "cmon man you want me to fire a single mom over this, you want a single mom to not have a job, mistakes happen man" or he would say in context to one of his employee's "(insert name) is a really good guy, he has a heart of gold, but yeah he is a stoner and forgets stuff, you want me to fire him over this just cause he is a stoner?" This was because I asked for compensation for putting me out of work for 6 months and all the fee's associated with driving an unregistered vehicle with no plates. STAY AWAY FROM VANDOOZER!!! Fortunately, I realized how bad they were before I ever stepped on the lot! These dudes do not know how to conduct business, they are a total joke. Their ads state to text for availability. I asked about 2 different vehicles via text and all I got was a no that has been sold. There was no asking for my business or if I would like to come into the lot and take a look at their comparable cars (which would be the only reason to leave an ad up for a car you don't have for sale) When I called them out for a giving me the perception they are unreliable and don't understand sales, the person lost it and started a crazy rant via text in the most unprofessional manner I have ever seen. I don't know who I was texting with from Vandoozer, but if you're the owner and you read this, I would like you to know you're a total and complete moron who does not understand sales. I recently purchased a car for my daughter and they were very up front about a few issues the car had. They were issues that I wasn't suprised by for a used car so we bought it. When I got it home, we put it up on blocks and checked it thoroughly. We found what they told us about and a few little issues that I would expect with a used car. They were polite and courteous and easy to deal with. They were not pushy, they were as helpful as they could be being salesmen. If you buy from them, listen to what they have to say and if you don't like it then make your own decisions. As for myself and my daughter, we got a good vehicle and she is very pleased and as a father I feel that it is safe for her to drive after I repaired what they said they new about with the car. read more

"Dave" the machanic was very rude to me over the phone, I asked him about a noise coming from under a truck I test drove and he did not explain to me the issue but instead hung up on me, not once but twice. Let me start out by saying i did not shop wisely. I didn't bring a mechanic to check the car out, I bought the car after dark (winter here, not much choice), and the test drive was really short. That being said, my son and I settled on a $2250 Dodge Durango. Our salesman Zack told us he had driven it for 3 days the prior week in the snowstorm and it ran like a champ which helped seal the deal. We got about 1 mile from the dealer to a gas station to fill it up, and the car was smoking already. We went straight to our closest mechanic the next day and received a $3000 estimate to get it back to its original glory (chain store shop). I called back, and a different salesman said the car was mine, but he didn't want me to get ripped off. I said great, I'll bring the car right over and get our money back. He said no, he can't do that... he meant he didn't want me to get ripped off by a mechanic and he insisted i get a second opinion. Fair enough. I took it to my usual mechanic the next day who had it for 3 days. It turns out, there were 2 small hoses completely missing from the engine, causing coolant to spill out in to the engine as fast as we could pour it in. We put a few hundred dollars in to it to get it street safe again, and went on our merry way. A couple days later, we were on 82nd and the car died again. We rolled it over to a parking lot to troubleshoot it, and had to call a mobile mechanic to come look at it. After a few days and 100 more dollars for his time, he proclaimed the engine dead. I had asked from the first day it was broken for the owner to call me to see if we could find a resolution, such as trading it back to the lot for a different car but he never called. I even sat in their office for an hour one morning while Zack tried to get the boss on the phone to talk to me... unsuccessfully. My salesman assured me the car was running fine when I bought it. Their mechanic (who they said they don't use anymore) had proclaimed the truck was in great shape... I guess he missed the missing hoses... heck, I did as well when looking at the car. I was informed that the dealership buys lots of cars at auction every week, and can't possibly check to make sure they are all running well... sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Zack also informed us that because the lot is on 82nd, they have lots of troubles with people breaking in to cars and stealing parts. I'm not really sure why someone would bother stealing 2 small hose lengths, but apparently it's a thing. I didn't expect to get a car on 82nd for $2250 that would last me years to come, but I had at least hoped it would get my son back and forth to work for a season or two and some outdoor camping adventures this spring. I would urge everyone buying used cars (especially at this lot) to spend the money on a mechanic to check the car out before purchasing. I am hoping to find someone to sell it to as-is who can maybe tinker with it to get it running again, but this has been a really expensive life lesson on not jumping in to a purchase too fast. My son had diligently saved up for 3 months to buy his first car, and I am disappointed that our purchase went so poorly and the dealer wasn't willing at all to work with us... once that paper is signed, it's ours and their responsibility ends. read more
