Mitch is fantastic. No, wait, Mitch is ALL CAPS FANTASTIC…read more He is personable, kind, honest, and sincere. He is also funny and cool; as one of the other reviewers said, you'd like to have a beer with him. You can work with Mitch in two ways. One: he might happen to have the perfect car for you sitting in his lot already. If so, lucky you! He only sells cars that are in great shape, often managing to find what I call "car unicorns" (one-owner cars with great maintenance records from states without road salt or flooding). Two: if Mitch doesn't happen to have the right car for you, you can use him as a sort of "car sommelier." He'll help you figure out what kinds of cars you might like (which was super helpful for me), steer you away from bad years or bad models, and then, when you know what you want, he'll source you a great car. When the car arrives in PDX, he'll take it to a reputable mechanic to make sure it's in tip top shape. We were definitely going to use Mitch to source a car for us, but, alas, we unexpectedly found our own extremely rare "unicorn" at a different dealer. But I will absolutely use Mitch's services when it's time to replace our next car. In fact, I am looking forward to it. Shocking! Thanks, Mitch. You rock.

Bonus for having kids toys around to make it easier to keep the kids busy. Would recommend Stolz Motors every time, the ideal car dealer that operates on integrity, honesty and quality.

My wife was sold a $225 fuel injection cleaning after being told Toyota recommends it every 3 years/30,000 miles. Ryan, the Service Department Manager, later confirmed IN WRITING that this is NOT a Toyota manufacturer recommendation, but a dealership recommendation. The advisor admitted to me that he mis-described the service to her and even had to ask his manager how to explain the service he had already sold. They also replaced a $250 drive belt for "showing wear" without showing her the wear, then discarded it before I could inspect it. We also weren't provided the required before-and-after alignment report until I requested it afterward. Then there's the $300 detail. For that price at a Toyota dealership, you expect an exceptional, dealership-quality detail. The truck came back still dirty, including what appeared to be dressing sprayed directly over dirt in the bed. I was then told Toyota of Portland doesn't even perform these details themselves. They outsource them to a third party and acknowledged they'd recently received other complaints about that company's quality. So you're paying a premium dealership price for a detail that the dealership isn't even performing, despite apparently already having concerns about the contractor's work. Management did refund the $300 detail after seeing my photos, but refused to refund the misrepresented fuel injection service because my wife authorized it. Of course she authorized it. She trusted the Toyota service advisor to accurately tell her what Toyota recommends. That trust is gone. We won't be returning.
