I loved the sparkle of malachite and how well it complimented my other jewelry so we chose to get that one on yellow gold chain. ENDED 2022 with a BANG! My experience was amazing from the time that I entered Van Cleef & Arpels! I can honestly say that this purchase goes down as THE BEST luxury purchase I've EVER made. Very friendly and patient staff with great attitudes - that goes a long way in my book! I was greeted by Jose Estevez, he provided excellent customer service and he was extremely knowledgeable. Prior to my visit, I did a ton of research on their "Vintage Alhambra bracelet, 5 motifs". I was not set on a particular stone just yet, but I knew this was the style of bracelet that I wanted to purchase. Jose was aware that this would be my very first VCA bracelet and he did an amazing job with making this moment special for me. We sat in one of their private rooms and I enjoyed a nice glass of champagne as he gathered multiple different Vintage Alhambra stone colors. We even had a few good laughs, which helped me get my mind off the price I was about to pay LOL!! I finally decided to go with the 18K yellow gold, carnelian. This color gravitated to me the most, and after Jose told me the meaning of that particular stone, it all made since! Now let's get to the OTHER awesome part... After I made my selection, and Jose measured my wrist, I finalized my purchase with an amazing Sales Associate by the name of Patrick, and honey when I tell you he did a great job at putting the "icing on the cake"!! He was so kind. He even sent me a text so that I had his info saved, so that I would know that it was him when my order was ready for pick-up. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. It is perfect! I love that VCA pieces are beautiful, timeless, classy. All that all of their pieces can be passed down from generation to generation. I live in Oregon and it was my first time visiting Texas. Prior to my trip, I already had my heart set on purchasing a 5-motif blue agate bracelet. I made an appointment on the VCA website, about a week before. I received texts and E-Mails, reminding me of my appointment date and time. This was so helpful, because due to the travel and Texas heat, I pushed my appointment to the next day. VCA Houston kindly accommodated me over the phone. Upon arriving to my appointment the next day, I was warmly greeted by security and boutique staff. The SA assigned to me was Jennifer Simmons. Right off the bat, she exuded a kind and friendly spirit. She offered me a beverage and asked questions about me, how my trip was going and what piece(s) I was interested in. She was direct in the nicest of ways, meaning that she was never pushy, but honest in what stones and materials were ideal for my lifestyle. Jennifer made amazing recommendations and really opened my eyes to different stones and materials I'd never considered before. Her passion for the brand and what she does is very clear. She was patient and incredibly genuine during the entire experience. I told her that I'd done ample research and that I knew what I wanted. She informed me of what their current inventory was in the boutique at the time, and that we'd have to place an order for the item. It was already something I had come in expecting, as every thing is handmade. She let me see and try on different pieces and helped me try on the sizing bracelets to determine if I wanted to have my bracelet resized to a shorter length. Unlike other luxury boutiques I've been to before, I felt incredibly comfortable here. Any questions/concerns I had were not only answered, but I felt validated and Jennifer addressed everything she could think of/I brought up. I can't stress enough about how she made sure to pay attention to EVERY detail. I asked for "vibrant" stones and she included it in the order notes. She was honest in letting me know that the stones could have natural variations. Sometime after I'd returned home to Oregon, she updated me via text, that my bracelet had arrived at the boutique and sent pictures and videos of the piece. When I told her everything looked great, she sent it out to be resized locally in Houston. It would take about 10 days or so. I placed my order with Jennifer at the beginning of October and I received my bracelet yesterday. It arrived much sooner than I expected. The item came beautifully wrapped and packaged. A paper VCA shopping bag, travel jewelry pouch, along with the extra links that were removed from the piece itself, were all included in the stunning box. This entire experience has been so memorable for me because I received the best customer service from Jennifer. I never once had to reach out to her first, because she'd reach out to me whenever there were any updates to my order. She would check in with me via text before doing anything (i.e. sending the bracelet to get resized or when she was about to ship out the order to me). Which was much appreciated, because I'm in the process of moving. What really struck me about Jennifer, is how highly she speaks about her clients, her colleagues, VCA the brand and her boutique. During my appointment, she had a regular client of hers stop by the boutique to just say "hello". She acknowledged him and greeted him warmly, but at no point did she step away or leave me by myself. Everything about her was so pleasant and sweet. She is amazing at building rapport with her clients and shows you how trustworthy she is, in the way she interacts with you. It's abundantly clear that she prioritizes her clients' happiness and satisfaction above everything else. And for these reasons, I will make all future VCA purchases with her. I highly recommend her to everyone who wants to have the full luxury VCA experience. You won't be disappointed. Thank you a million times over, Jennifer! Unfortunately there was a waitlist for the Guilloche pendant I wanted, so I left my info with Benjamin and told him to notify me asap. Not only did he keep in touch, but he also helped my boyfriend plan an elaborate scheme to "surprise" me for my birthday. Thanks for making my first VCA experience a memorable one! Overall I give the attention 3 stars because although there were moments of 5 stars, there were also moments of 1 star. A french guy, Patrick, was the guy who we dealt with. We went there late September 2020, therefore due to covid I can understand the customer service has changed. However, we were the only people there at 10am. Patrick came in and from afar asked us what we were looking for, with an unfriendly manner. Let's just say it didn't start well. It took quite a while for him to warm up to try to show us other options. It was my husband's surprise to buy something for me there that day, so I tried not to show how uncomfortable I was feeling. So for that 1 star. Then after Patrick saw that we weren't planning on leaving, he warmed up and brought several pieces to show us. That was a very nice moment. So I give it 5 stars when we sat down to check some options. However my husband thinks it was so odd how he kept mentioning the prices over and over without us asking, because they don't do that at other stores such as Cartier. He did howeveget my number to let me know when my piece would be in. He said he'd know or call me by Tuesday, I was excited for that. After a week of waiting, I texted Patrick to see if the piece I wanted had arrived. He texted "Let me check for you" and that was the last I heard. I give it a 1 star for phone attention ( or lack of attention). So I decided not to waste my time and went to the Galleria. I called them and they seemed so gracious. When I arrived, the were wonderful from the beginning to end. Bought my piece and was so happy. The second time they were still very friendly and wonderful. So it shows that it isn't VCA's policy, just some workers are better than others. So I highly recommend to go to VCA at Neiman Marcus in The Galleria Mall over the one in River Oaks Mall if you don't get a good service. Although I read some people did get good, so maybe Patrick had a few bad days and I just happened to fall on those days. read more

My husband bought me a Mother's Day present, a jumbo mirror face flower necklace weekend before Mother's Day. I went in on Monday after Mother's Day to this VCA store to ask if I could get exchange for same item as the one I received had scratches on it. First off, I was the only customer in there and they allowed a new person to help me who didn't seem to know anything. There were several people working. He was trying with force to clean it. I would imagine a high end jeweler like VCA to have a professional jewelry cleaning machine inside. I asked for manager and someone else came. I was told they could either send it to New York to be polished and it MIGHT come off, wait 8-9 months for an exchange, or get a store credit. The second person told me the item is hand made and sometimes have scratches from when they set the diamond. I was surprised that a high end jeweler like VCA would sell brand new items with scratches and expect customers to be okay with that. I looked around and didn't see anything else I liked. I asked if there was any way to get a refund and they said no. I was very upset when I left because this was an expensive gift that I had hoped to love. I would have loved it if it didn't have the scratches. It's been a few months and I have not worn the item because the scratches bother me. I will never shop at this store again. read more

We assumed that they will send us a return label, considering how much we have spent for the necklace but they said no. VCA has finally opened its own stand-alone boutique in Houston! Yelp says it is in Highland Village, but it is actually in the new River Oaks district just a few doors from iPic. What do you expect with VCA? Nothing but the best, and do they ever deliver. Patrick, the store GM, ran all over the store, going from case to case, showing me anything and everything I wanted to see; telling me all about the collections and about VCA's history along the way. He was truly a delight and made our visit so memorable. Sometimes with higher-end stores they think the customer base should be grateful to even walk in the door. Not here. I did not even find the security guard to be oppressive. Be sure to ask for champagne... makes the price tags a bit more palatable! Patrick gave us a very generous box of Maison du Chocolate that we enjoyed that night in bed! Can't wait to go get more chocolate and clovers! read more

This VCA store has THE best service! Majority of the high end stores in HOU has a snotty vibe (Chanel in the galleria is the worst among all) but def. not here. I was helped by Patrick. Not only was he informative and extremely knowledgeable, he's also very patient and funny! I had brief conversations w/ his colleague, an Asian guy who was also welcoming and nice. Did I mention they also give you La Maison Du Chocolat while you shop around? I didn't even get that from the VCA flagship store in Paris! VCA is an addiction.
