This was not just bad service -- it was humiliating, unhygienic, and painful. Truly the worst experience I've ever had at a salon. Avoid this place at all costs. I have been waxing my face for 10 years. I am a regular at European waxing center for all my wax…read moreneeds. Technician is one thing but their products are always good. Never had an issue ever. I found this place for eyebrows and have gone a couple of times for eyebrows and have done face wax here once in the past. No problem with eye brow part. This time, against my better judgment, I decided to do face wax. Lady burnt and wripped off my one side of face. I have a 3 inches long burn under eye orbital, around dime size rip in and around my laugh line and most painful one is under my lower lip, almost 2 inches long. There are multiple smaller 1cm burns/rips on same side of face. I can't laugh and even washing face is painful. I developed cellulitis and has been using topical antibiotic. I did not want to be dramatic once I saw all the damage in my car mirror right after service. My face was stinging horribly and burning got worst with aloe Vera gel that she applied. She had clients so instead of going back in I called her. Her first response was "oh it was not like this when you left from here". Like what? did I decide to mutilate my face for fun? I went back to show her. Not a single word of apology. Her answers were "wax is unpredictable." "You shouldn't have done wax." " Many of my clients get burnt because of sensitive skin." "Hide it under makeup" "you will be fine in few days, just apply Vaseline" She Completely dismissed me when I said "why didn't you stop when you saw first burn?" "Why is it only one side of face, it's either your technique or you have put warmer wax". Instead of listening to me she applied a patch on her cheek and said nothing happened to me. Then offered impersonally that take a $25 card. Then she said I can refund you. I didn't say yes to either. Because it made me feel so awkward that I am in literal pain and she thinks I just want money. So rude, and unprofessional. An apology and hearing me out would have sufficed. But she uttered not a single word of apology. I felt gaslighted. I mean you are aesthetician, shouldn't you be learning in school on how to pay attention, talk and evaluate skin. Is not this basics? And if you can't see such big burns right away get proper lights. I have multiple darkest patches/spots over half of my face and I am in a client facing job. I am so upset and I feel businesses take benefit of politeness. I will be making complaint to aesthetic board with pictures of my face. I never look for best deals and coupons because I believe in paying people what they want for their services and in turn do a good job. After this experience I have no sympathy or respect for this place.

The salon had a bigger sign so it was easy to find then. The parking is in a lot like a standard strip mall. I walked in and it was clean and didn't smell like products like some salons. There are hair stylists and products in the front of the salon. I walked straight to the back where they do eyebrows. It was a private room. Room was clean and I was the only customer. Eyebrow tech was very friendly and social asking me about my holiday plans. She threaded one brow first and then asked me to take a look. I confirmed it was okay, then she did the other. I am satisfied with my brow shape and would return if I am in this area again. Unfortunately I live an hour away and was here for an office visit in the area. But the constant tangles and excessive breakage had gotten to the point that I dreaded brushing my hair. I was amazed that I actually got an appointment with Serap - but so happy that I got one. Fast forward a few hours later, my 77 year old grey hair looks and feels decades younger and a brush is no longer my enemy. All it took was a shampoo, a fabulous hair treatment specifically for my wiry greys and a good trim. To make things even better, they carry the full line of my favorite hair products Kerastase which are fabulous. I left with such soft and manageable hair that I hadn't seen for a long long time. So I had my husband take me out to dinner with my hair down instead of pulled back! Plus it was quite clear that my natural wave was not lost but back again!
