I have evidences and Paul's receipt and report and the other shop report and photo evidences of Paul's scam. Never Go there, they will scam you and never warranty their job. Also , I believe lots of angry customers were there telling by the look of the smashed glass of the shop door. I wish I read the their reviews before I went there.

After an alignment and recommendation by my mechanic I asked Kal tire to take a look at the tires. Curtis, the experienced and professional technician agreed that there was a tire issue. Kyle, the manager offered me a great solution and replaced the 4 tires with a superior brand for a great price. They told me it would take an hour to identify the leak and would then send me a report. I received the report early the following day. It was easy to read and included 3 videos to help me understand the problem. It was a transmission leak and potentially quite a serious problem. They gave me a couple options and what the costs would be but recommended I take it to Mister Transmission as they had the expertise to do a rebuild which could save me quite a bit of money. I really appreciated that their priority was saving me money and not keeping the car in their shop. They also said it only took half an hour to identify the leak so that was all they charged me.

I checked at Costco, but they had no rims and the tire was an oddball and would be several days out. So, I went to Discount Tire, where I was successful at getting an oddball tire for older S10. The very accommodating counter guy (#69) said they had rim options and could get the tire in a couple of days, making our trip south a reliable venture. To sweeten the deal they beat Costco's price by a few bucks and they offer a military discount for us retired old guys. I was very pleased to get a call from DC the very next day saying that the tire and rim were in and would be available soonest. I went in, they put the new tire on and the spare back where it belonged, all smiles and happy holidays. In summary, good availability, great service topped of by being a good value. After I ask, they say they can have it in noon the next day. I go there at 1:00 pm the next day, am told the wrong filter arrived, and they wouldn't be able to get the correct one until Tuesday because of long weekend. 5pm the same day get a call saying the filter came in (which means they lied to me about receiving the wrong filter). Just before they about to start, he says it's going to be $171 plus tax! That's nearly $200 for an oil change and $32 more than I was told the day before. Guy says he doesn't know who I talked to the day before and that's the price.

We needed to drain the oil pan after we added a bit too much. They added an air filter which was only 20 bucks so the oil change was.. well, really effing pricy. Everything is still working though so it's an A-OK experience all around.
