    $1.99 @goodwill

This company is incredibly selfish and greedy. The CEO (Mark Walsh) makes 10 million dolllars a year and lives in a Mansion in Bellevue. Meanwhile he is skyrocketing the prices of DONATED GOODS. Also look how gross these people are, a previously donated plant pot from goodwill, versus the price "Value" village put on it. What a joke.

I come here often and let me give you the breakdown... Pros: 1) staff is friendly and understanding 2) there is a large verity in what they have and u will most likely find what u need 3) there r mirrors around the store so u can see how something looks on u 4) if u donate then u get a card with a bunch of discounts that work immediately- I saved almost 10 dollars from it 5) it is very organized 6) they have the best selection of items I. The area Cons: 1) there r a lot of stained clothing items that are marked for a high price - but was looking at a pair of branded jeans that had a period stain on them for 23.99 which is a good price for a branded item but u usually wouldn't wash jeans because of shape and sizing 2) there r no dressing rooms and there is a strict policy on not using the bathrooms to change- however if u can slip the clothing piece on quickly then u will be able to check itself in the mirrors Overall it's a pretty average thrift store... Edit: I went back for some more thrifting and upped my review by one star because the staff was so kind about finding every possible way to get a charger for my android because it ran out of charge. The staff was also super nice, and you can find some steals there that were amazing! There are also 30% off on Tuesday for seniors which came in really handy when shopping with my mom who qualified as a senior.

    Insane prices

Ridiculous prices. Every time I go, it's like someone is back there pricing stuff as if it's their personal yard sale and they are trying to make as much as they can. Adding photos of the madness. Large glass vase for $50? Pricing things ABOVE the brand-new price.. with the tag still on the item? Half this stuff needs to be priced to move it off the shelf. Considering they get free merchandise to sell.. come on now. It's a thrift store. Needs to get back to thrift store prices.

I asked to get an extension cord priced and they said, "we can't do it now, we're too busy while they were laughing in a group 2 minutes before." I said, "ok, should I come back in 30 minutes or a couple hours." They said "come back tomorrow ". I said "ok, does that mean you'll hold the item?" And was told "no, it goes back on the shelf." Now this was an extension cord and worth a couple bucks. The employee was a lady in the back.

Creative hanging makes checking sizes MUCH faster! Points for that!

This Value Village has the goods! Yes, the selection varies but this one seems to consistently offer a wide variety of higher quality, gently used clothes, books and housewares. We definitely had some EURIKA moments. Prices- Adult-size shirts start around $2.50 and quickly jump up to $10 or more for dressier styles. At that point, I might as well go to Ross or TJ Maxx. Minus one star for thrift store inflation.

You are not allow to look or touch the item on this cart! Smurf says!

Pretty nice place to shop. Wide variety of things to buy, and a convenient place to donate unwanted items.

I used to love this place until they raised their prices by about 3x. You can buy brand new for a lot of these prices.

Today my daughter and I went to donate clothing to Value Village and a full sized boxed truck from Treasures in Heaven was in line in front of us. Once they pulled up to the unloading area it and started to unload in became apparent this was a loaded full box truck, unloading for well over 30 minutes while cars piled up in line and the driver and passenger did very little to assist in the unloading process while the entire VV team worked their butts off. I doubt the fact people are donating to this Christian organization and simply having it turned over to Value Village is what people donating are hoping for. This is also incredibly rude behavior on behalf of Treasures as the line is nearly out of the parking lot, people are abandoning the line foregoing donating. Many of the boxes are taped shut so the VV workers have to open them prior to accepting them slowing the process further. Treasures is dumping their unwanted inventory at the Issaquah Value Village, holding up the line, hogging up the employees and inconveniencing dozens of people simply trying to do a nice thing. I'm writing this review because I find this behavior extremely unbecoming of Treasures and likely deceptive to those donating there, furthermore it is inconsiderate on multiple levels.

UPDATE APRIL 29, 2026:…read more REJECTED DONATIONS LEAVE ME DEJECTED I'm downgrading my rating of Redmond Goodwill from four stars to two stars because I had recently been told that they no longer accept e-waste electronics, except for computers, printers, TVs, and related electronics. But small appliances like microwaves, blenders, lamps, etc. that are not working or incomplete are no longer accepted as scrap. Likewise for scrap metal and plastic hangers. DELAYED REJECTION ENFORCEMENT = CHAOTIC/DISORGANIZED HANGER HANGUP I donated to this Goodwill literally hundreds of times over several years. They had always accepted all manner of scrap electronics, scrap metal, and all clothes hangers. When I tell them that, I'm told this had been the policy for some time, but only now they're beginning to enforce this "new" policy. This is not the first time this has happened. Also I was told hangers should be organized according to the various types of hangers. Huh? I see donations piled high and deep on either side of the two donation lanes in no particular order. And also they load up those blue carts in no particular order. And now they expect everything to be organized, or just hangers? LET US KNOW ON SITE, NOT JUST ON YOUR WEBSITE Now I will have to find someplace else to get rid of scrap small appliances, scrap metal, and plastic hangers, to keep them from going to the landfill. Though it is good that they spell out what they accept and do not accept on their website, it also would be very helpful to stick a sign out where they post their donation hours saying "we are no longer accepting (fill-in).", and leave it there for a while.

The sheer volume of items on the floor and shelves makes this place a bit overwhelming, and I couldn't find any organization as far as their books go so if you love a long riffling through heaps of stuff then this is your place, but if you like more of an organized and accessible experience this is definitely a place I would skip. The prices range from a couple dollars, to $7.99 for most clothing, and up depending on the item. I'd say they're asking higher end for things, similar to a current Goodwill. I don't have direct experience with the service as neither me nor my companion purchased anything, but the clerks behind the checkout counter were talking amongst themselves as several people looked at the accessories in the area. I don't see myself going out of my way to come back here, unfortunately.
