I've had a few different storage units at this location for the last several years and I must say…read morethat I've been quiet pleased. The location is convenient, the facility is always extra clean and the staff is consistent and always ready to assist. The units are also climate controlled. You can purchase storage related materials like tape, boxes and other packing goods at the office and they will loan you a flatbed cart to wheel your items as long as you leave your ID as collateral until the cart is returned. The parking area, which is secure, is indoors so there is no fear of getting wet when loading or unloading items. The two downsides about this location (and likely all Value Store It locations), is that (1) every year the prices go up on your unit. Regardless of how many years you've been a loyal customer or have consistently paid in a timely manner, the price of the unit (doesn't matter the size) increases by about five dollars. Additionally, (2) it would be helpful if they had a dumpster or some other large garbage bin to discard items while you clean up your unit.

The units are clean, the people are professional and it still feels a little like a small business owner runs it. We got a 5X10 for 69.99 a month with the 1st month free for signing on for 12 months. Also, they have a moving truck you can have on move in day for free, although you do have to buy insurance $14 and fill the tank back up when your done. if you only drive 25 miles round trip you don't have to pay for miles. Also, there is a gal there, Martha, who is super helpful and tries her best to find the best deal and unit for you. If you need storage go to this place and check it out.

Instead of helping find a solution, the only recommendation made was "good luck with that". Aside from the HORRIBLE customer service, they had ZERO knowledge of the location of a rug and lied and said it was on the truck. I will make sure everyone understands how seriously incapable this company is to handle other people's items. With a huge lack of responsibility towards customer service. Don't tell your customer "good luck with that" after your employees carelessly left an expensive rug by a trash bin.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My wife and I rented two units that…read morewere both broken into. They were the only two units broken into, according to the manager. Seems strange that when asked about the theft, the manager - has not been able to tell the same story twice. - told us that he had talked to the police about the theft. - told the Miami Police, in Spanish, that they did not have any right to see or obtain the video surveillance of the theft. - has consistently made the entire theft sound like it was no big deal. - when confronted with the fact that people renting the unit next to one of ours checked out the previous day, says it was just coincidence. - his attitude in all conversations has been evasive. The units are so flimsy they can be broken into with a pry bar. The security is a joke. The manager claims he has no available records of anyone entering the facility through the code locked doors and elevators. Kinda sounds like he is covering up for the thieves or is in on the thieft. The haul was over $100,000 in personal belongings, many of which are irreplaceable. DO NOT STORE ANYTHING AT THIS FACILITY!
