Although there are multiple glowing reviews of this company, I am for the very first time in a long time posting a review because I am so outraged. Had Value come in to give us a quote for painting once we completed our remodel as well as an additional piece of work - removing mirror off of a wall in the living room. We were given a quote of $800 which seemed high but were told it could take up to 2 days to complete the job. Since we knew they would have to bring in equipment to complete the job safely and not knowing what the removal would entail, we accepted the quote. This morning 2 workers arrived with a single ladder and completed the work in just over 3 hours, however, since they had to dispose of the glass we'll add an additional hour for taking it to wherever they take their debris. We called Value to discuss some sort of reduction on the quote and were met with a zillion reasons why they should get $800 dollars for 4 hours for two men and a ladder. They were not concerned at all with the fact that we were very upset knowing we had been extremely overcharged for the job. One could understand that the estimator thought that it would take longer so when presented with the fact that it was much easier than expected they would immediately adjust the bill accordingly--but no. This review is strictly against the Management/Customer Service of the company. The workers that came today were polite, friendly and worked cleanly, however, we could never recommend or engage a company that thinks so little of its customers. read more

Going into any renovation job expecting things to go perfectly is just setting yourself up for disappointment. In my experience house renovations never go 100% as expected. The job we hired Value Painting & Flooring to do was no exception. Some scheduling hiccups, a few expectations on our part that was beyond the scope of the job and some language barriers (we are in South Florida) all contributed to some challenges. What prompted me to give Value Painting a 5 star rating is how the company handled these hurdles and ultimately left my house looking great with all new floors upstairs and all new paint jobs in my bedrooms. I will not hesitate to use them again when we go to paint the rest of our newly purchased house a few years down the road and I would also not hesitate recommending them to anyone who is looking for new floors or paint. Painting a home has a lot of moving parts, each bring the possibility of problems. Thankfully, the staff from Value Painting and Flooring did an almost flawless job on our project. Overall great experience. We had some drywall replaced and some ceiling painting done. Even when some challenges came up during the project that caused the work to get slightly delayed, Danny was able quote me new lower price than the original estimate and get the project done. Very understaning of my needs while being straight forward and honest which are hard to come by. Also had some good recommendations for other projects I needed done. We used Value Painting to paint the interior and exterior of our house. They also installed molding on top of our kitchen cabinets to extend the height to the ceiling. The entire process from quote to actual work was smooth and easy. Our painter Nestor was amazing. He also did the molding and it looks beautiful. Multiple communications to check in with us to ensure we were happy with the progress. Danny and Nestor were amazing. Both were VERY professional. I would highly recommend. My designer had come up with nearly 10 colors (accent walls, several whites for different rooms) for our new home and Danny made sure to double and triple check with me on every wall before work started. Additionally we had to add some small jobs in (putting up a chair rail in the kitchen) and Danny and Nestor (his foreman) made sure everything was taken care of promptly and perfectly. I have found one small area they missed (its behind the fridge but can be seen when the door is open for the freezer drawer, not when it is closed) and they were instantly responsive to come and correct it. I have since hired Danny & Nestor for another job and am expecting the service to be the same, as so far all interactions have been equally professional. Danny was also very good about updating me as the job progressed and sticking to his original estimate. read more

I hired Value painting because I saw the quality work they did on the house across the street. I did not get the same crew and the job was not done close to the level as the house across the street. I was told, 1 coat primer, 1 coat paint sprayed on, then one coat rolled out. well it turns out they used a paint and primer in one paint, so it was really only 1 coat sprayed on. There are several spots that did not get trimmed out very well and you can still see the old paint. They also sprayed over all the mesh on the soffit vents, basically blocking the air flow through the vent. I have been scrapping overspray off the windows for the last week. Caulking was not done more than 80%. and now, I get a letter from a lawyer that one of the painters is suing me because he was standing in my flower garden looking up at the house, and stepped forward without looking down and twisted his knee. Very bad experience and looks like it will not end anytime soon. Thanks Danny for giving me a great experience as promised. read more

We worked with Dani the owner from Value Painting/Flooring to paint our condo 2/2 in the Tamarac area. His quote was $275 cheaper than our previous estimate, with good quality work. He asked us about the color, finish and got the paint from the store we want it. He was able to come out for a free estimate within 24 hrs of the call. He is professional, amicable and has insurance. Immediately we received an email with a link to the estimate and insurance information. He sent us pics after the work was done and asked if we were satisfied with the job. He didn't ask for payment until the job was completed. He was able to accommodate us to complete the painting within 7 days of obtaining the estimate. Highly recommended.
