However, once he was up on the roof, he found that the gutters were clean, no debris in sight. He suggested the it might be a roof issue, not gutters. I will also admit that my roof was VERY dirty... I had told Elisha that I needed this roof cleaning to pass a city inspection. Elisha shows up, does his thing, and all seemed well. I thanked him and paid him. Then the city came out and failed the cleaning. I messaged Elisha the same day and he said not to worry, the city can be hard like that, but he'd make it right and come back out to go over some spots again and make sure I passed. I had 1 tree to remove and then we were going to develop a plan to eventually remove 2 other trees. Not a big profitable job, I completely understand that and I told him so. But, you treat even the little customer well and they will bring you more business. When I tried to pin him down to set up the removal and develop our plan he wouldn't respond. He no-showed for an appointment. When we set up another appointment I texted the day before to confirm. The response I got was "I'm behind on another job and just don't think I'm going to have time for yours. Can I offer you a $25 Home Depot gift card for the inconvenience?". Needless to say I told him thanks but no thanks. All this after I had told him the problems I had with other contractors, which obviously resulted in empty promises and the same result with him. My point is, I emphasized that I was not in a hurry to get the work done, I just wanted a timetable, and I knew this was a small job for him. My roof is clean now but there were a lot more shingle pebbles that came down through my gutters than what I expected. There are also more that come down with each rain storm. I don't seem to have any problems with the quality of of the work done and I would definitely call this company again. They gave a good estimate and were able to be paid easily. The whole cleaning took only a few hours and it also did not bother any of my landscape. They are licensed and insured which is important when someone climbs on the roof and is working with water and electricity.
