Saw on website to drop off by 9am for same day service... didn't need same day service, so I went in around 9:45 on Friday. The woman says the soonest they could have it ready is Monday. I let her know we're from out of town & have a holiday party tomorrow, is there any chance they could manage to get it done by then? She rudely says, "No, it's too late for today and we haven't cleaned on Saturdays in over two years." I literally *just* said we're from out of town - how am I supposed to know that? I double checked after I left, and I still don't see that information anywhere on their website... that being said, their website is a mess, so I suppose that information could be buried somewhere & I just missed it. Anyway, no idea if they are any good, but the woman was super rude, so we definitely won't go back to Burlington Cleaners in the future!

When I questioned the woman at the counter she was so rude, shrugged her shoulders and handed me the bag! Nite: you pay when you drop off the items not when you pick up! Good luck getting a refund from them on their mistakes!

When I arrived to pick them up, the seamstress, who is the owner's wife, told me she never did the repair because she did not have the material. No one contacted me. When I asked why I was not called so I could take them elsewhere, she said they do not call customers. That response is unacceptable. This was time sensitive. A single phone call would have allowed me to solve the problem. Instead, my clothing was held with no work done and no notice. When I stated that as a paying customer I expected communication and follow through, she became defensive and accused me of being rude. A refund was offered, but there was no accountability or professionalism. If you expect your clothes to be finished, or expect basic communication, do not go here. This experience showed a complete lack of care and responsibility. I HAD to choose one star to even post!

I'm pretty famous for packing far more than necessary when traveling. In fact, even when going places with women I can't recall ever having a smaller suitcase than they did. Because of this I was able to go five days in Cancun and a week in Vegas before running out of a few necessities. But when I was finally ready to do some laundry for the next week of the trip the pile was quite large, and unfortunately there was no reliable cleaning facility on site where I was staying. I've got to say, Ultra Stop is phenomenal.... All of the machines are shiny and new, and the rates were quite reasonable...they'll even do your laundry and fold it for you if you drop it off and pay an extra fee (by the pound). Did a few hours of laundry from a trip to London/Paris/Milan last week. And on their large screen TV I learned here that 5 consecutive guys were not the father of a baby on Maury, poor gal

When I went into Kings Guard, the owners were nothing but sweet. The lady was so excited to help me, she knew the only thing I needed was for the dress to be taken in on the sides and shorten the straps a little. I put the dress on, she pinned everything, and we agreed it was a perfect fit. She wrote me up a slip, advised it would be $60, and to come back in two days to pick it up. Awesome. I go back a few days later to pick it up, try the dress on, and I can't even zip up the back. Apparently, they have a seamstress off-site that does alterations & she took the dress in too much. Fine, the lady at the shoppe said she would have it taken care of within 48 hours, which was good! I go back in 2 more days to try the dress on again & now it fits perfect. Here's my problem: I was charged $80 total. When asked why the $20 extra charge, the lady said it was because the dress had to be sent back a second time to get fixed, and it costs them money to do that. Uhmmmm, ok, but it wasn't my fault the dress was taken in too much the FIRST time. I hate confrontation, so I questioned her once, she said that's how it is, I paid the $80, and went on my merry way. I loved the shoppe at first, they are sweet people, but I'm not keen on their customer service / resolution methods. Sadly, I will not be going back. Sorry, Kings Guard!

The prices seem pretty…read morereasonable, and they have been able to clean things quicker than some other cleaners that I have gone to. When I needed my suit rushed for a wedding they were able to get it done in time and without a lot of negotiating about when they could have it done by. Service has been hit or miss, sometimes the person at the counter isn't speaking, sometimes people are really friendly. If you drop off your cleaning on a Tuesday, they give you a 20% discount. Apparently there is also a tailor in there.
