My anxiety started at the door when I couldn't find a cart, so i went to an attendant who was stocking the vegetables and asked where the carts were, she said at the cashier. I'm asking myself why the carts are at the cashier but still, i walked down the whole cashier row, no carts, no baskets. So I took a deep breath and thought no worries, maybe I don't need one. I started through the isles looking for rice and immediately noticed the disarray of goods on the floor and falling off the shelves. I was too tired to wade through these isles trying to get my bearings. I left the store immediately because it's not worth it to get an anxiety attack in there. This is always been my experience in this grocery store. So no more experimenting, FRESHCO it is, where everything is where it should be.

When I checked out at the self-check out, the asparagus rang up to $11.00/kg. I asked one of the staff to check and when she went to the display, the sign where the asparagus were was for watermelon slices $1.29/lb. The staff asked at the customer service if they would honor the price and they said no. This is misconception on Metro. There were no watermelon slices in the display area. Better to shop at Nations across the street than at Metro.

Always the best regular prices and always something needed that is on sale at decent discounts. Staff have always been helpful. No self checkout but thats not a complaint - there have always been adequate cashiers open to keep lines adequately short. Many of the cashiers have been there a long time which says something is only a good thing, and they're very fast too! Glad to hear the original location is staying open during the redevelopment of the site, with a new FreshCo opening in its place, in the new development.
