I would NOT recommend this nail service provider. The tech who did my nails did very poor work, and entire time in chair she would attempt to upsell multiple other services. As a customer, I am capable of relaying what service I need. Very rude attitude. When I provided my complaint to manager, instead of credit back due to poor workmanship, they said I would have to meet with the same tech to redo this work. If she did poor work initially, why would I want her to do again? I received NO credit back for the poor work. There is no shortage of nail salons. Do NOT go here for the convenience of. I am not one to write reviews. But I had to for this place. My boyfriend and I went here last Sunday and I noticed a developing infection on my toe that was painful by Tuesday. Very disappointing. Thank god it was nothing serious but it even hurt to walk on Wednesday. It is almost a week later and I STILL have an infection on my toe. We also asked for the pedicure package that had a longer massage I think 30 minutes we weren't even in the chair for 30 minutes. At the counter when my boyfriend paid he mentioned that we didn't get what asked for and they didn't even fight him they just gave him the new price. Wish our experience was better. read more

My daughter and I went to get a pedicure today. I asked for 2 classic (basic) pedicures. When I went up to pay, they charged me for one classic pedicure, and one deluxe. At checkout, I said, I got 2 Classic pedicures and they said that the lady that did my feet gave me a deluxe. I stated that I didn't ask for a deluxe, I asked for a classic, and she argued with me saying that both her and the other tech were sure I asked for the deluxe. I specifically asked for 2 classic pedicures and clarified that twice. The boss was right there, and never tried to make matters right. I could tell that no matter how much I debated it, they were not going to budge. I think they did that on purpose and if that's the kind of business that they do, I will not be coming back. Awful. The girl who did my manicure was fighting a cold and was wiping her not and then going back to touch my hands without washing her hands! She paid no attention to shipping my nails. She didn't clean underneath the nails. I've never been here before but they also don't use any type of cuticle oil or do any type of massage. Not sure I would have wanted one anyways with her sniffling and wiping her nose. She then globed on the paint. It was so thick and had air bubbles. It looked terrible. My nails weren't even, they were partly square and partly rounded. On the way out I mentioned how bad they looked to a male technician. He did take the nail polish off for me and fixed the shape. He offered to reposing the nails but I couldn't stay due to a time constraint. He said he would give me $10 back. When I came back I saw he was writing a gift card. I told him I didn't want a gift card I would not be coming back and left. So I paid $20 to get a previous gel manicure taken off and left extremely disappointed. read more

This place is so relaxing come in around 11 Am for the best natural light feeling! The lady who did mine was amazing and the gentleman who did my wife's was kind and carried a great conversation! Let me preface this by saying I never leave reviews. That should let you know how dissatisfied I am as a customer. I've been here twice now, I recently moved from Brandon to valrico. The first time I was unimpressed with the customer service, but the cleanliness and the job they did made me come back for a second chance, because I did go in an hour before closing the first time. I went in yesterday for a pedicure and my 5 year old came with me for a tow polish and she likes to soak her feet. I always tell them I'm okay with paying more that's just what she likes to do. So the guy tells me ok she can sit on your lap and soak her feet in the same water as you. I push back a few times but I can tell he's not going to back down and I don't want to cause a scene. They were busy but there were only two people in the chairs for a pedicure at this point so plenty of room. So they call me over to a chair and I have my five year old in my lap. She can't reach the water unless I hold her at the bottom which is completely uncomfortable if you can imagine. The woman next to me gets up after my daughter has her toes painted and the nail tech is trying to spread her legs as far apart as they can go so she can begin working on my toes. I ask her if I can put her in the chair next to me now and she agrees. Another male nail tech comes out and mumbles something in another language to my nail tech clearly annoyed that I put my daughter there. Whatever I just want to enjoy this $40 pedicure. Honestly I could have let all this go but the job was subpar. I had an ingrown toenail that's still there and she cut my toenails so short that it will just get worse. My nails aren't filed evenly and the polish is already chipping. On top of that I was overcharged for my daughters polish. Definitely will not be returning and will suggest different places to friends and family. read more

I went today to Valrico Nail & Spa with a friend for a little pampering! This isn't my first rodeo! The place was very unorganized, unkempt and under staffed! Lisa, who did a basic pedicure charged me for an upgrade, which I didn't get. She said she had to charge an extra $5 to put tips on my nails (I wanted them longer). I've NEVER been charged extra for tips. I go every 2-3 weeks! She said she had to fix a chipped nail, which I didn't have one, and it's $25.00 for gel?!?!?!?! I've NEVER paid more than $10 for gel! This place is a rip off, it's dirty and some of the staff are liars and highly unprofessional! I'll stick to the many other better quality, lower priced salons I normally go to. Worst acrylic job EVER. First he used the Dremel to turn my nails into tissue paper and then instead of putting extensions on he just put the acrylic right of my nails. The work itself was pretty, but the craftsmanship was shit. The work only lasted a week due to my nails peeling and tearing underneath the acrylic, both of my pointer fingers finally broke after a week an a half. Other places my nails would last 3 weeks to a month but not here. They do do nice pedicures and some workers take there time and are kind and attentive but proceeded with caution. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER! I got a pedicure in which he never buffed my feet! He did, however, blow on my toes and massage my thighs which I have NEVER experienced during a pedicure. My gel manicure was all over my cuticles and under my nails! I asked him to clean up the edges of my nails and he said it was messy because my nails are too short. I said "I don't mean to be a pain, but there is polish on my skin and on every finger. This looks sloppy" He wouldn't let me soak off the gel polish, he took it off by using the electric file. I even said THREE TIMES that I did not want him to file the polish off, but he said there is no other way to take it off. Afterwards my nails were paper thin and I still had gel polish stuck under my cuticles and on the sides of my fingers. I also still had to pay 30$ I'd be very interested in seeing this man's license/certification to do nails, because I doubt he has one. I went across the street to mimi's to have my nails fixed and the woman working there said "WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOUR NAILS?!" My thoughts exactly. read more

I'm never one to write reviews but felt this needed to be shared. This was my first time to this place and at first I was a little annoyed because 3 people walked in after me but were seated before me. I assume they were regulars so they took them first. Whatever, I can wait. Finally my turn come and the lady who helped me was so busy trying to up sell me to a $50.00 pedicure after I told her several times I was fine with the basic one. I had my two kids with me and I wasn't really there for relaxation but just needed my feet to not look like I've been walking around barefoot for 6 months. So was just looking for something quick and easy. Anyways she seemed annoyed that I wouldn't do the $50.00 pedicure that she rushed through my pedicure. At one point she cut the skin on the side of my toe and just pulled it which it was still attached so it tore the skin which hurt and started to bleed and she didn't even apologize but continued to let it bleed and had me put my foot back in the water. Now my toe appears to be infected which this literally happened 1 day ago and it looks this bad and after reading reviews that they do not sterilize their tools I'm really concerned. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. Salon seems clean .. they assured me tools were sterilized but after my tech took tools out of pack she sprayed them with something and then wiped them in towel , so not sure what that's about and my tech didn't speak English so I didn't ask . She was gentle and gave a good leg massage and I had the basic . They use liners in the sink which is good . The massage chairs were not as comfy as some other salons I've been too but they looked fairly new. My biggest complaint was the music ... they were playing Christian Rock . Definitely not for everyone . Not sure I would go back ...I guess that will depend on how long my pedicure holds up read more

Worst pedicure my wife has ever had. The finely dressed man (slacks, button-down shirt, nice shoes) handled her very roughly, pinching and pulling her toes and cutting her skin twice, drawing blood. The nail on her small toe is almost non-existent after getting cut to almost nothing. The tips of her nails also have an inverted (concave) cut. Worst French pedicure ever! The man seemed too much in a hurry to care about the comfort of his client. His grasping, pinching, and cutting was so painful that she did not get her normal nail decoration done and left no tip for the first time ever. She now has to attend her brother's wedding with a funky looking pedicure and cut toes that will be very painful on high heels for hours.
