I have been seeing N.P. R Slade Thacker at this location for over six years. My entire family has…read morebeen seen there and we've been happy until we received a notice one week prior to his exiting the practice ,interestingly enough out of the six providers that they sent in the letter four of them are not taking patients that need to receive medication's for issues. I have never been treated so rudely in my life until dealing with their staff, so now I'm left to find Decent Care on my own !!!I hope that anyone who reads this stays very clear of this location in Caldwell. They are literally no help. I finally got my last-minute medication which I can't even go off of ...this place is a joke don't ever go near there if you want actual care.. Sadly they have missed the mark by a mile. Runaway don't walk.

I was referred to West Valley Spine and thought, "Okay, it's going to be a long time before I hear from them to set up an appointment." Wrong. They contacted me a couple of weeks later and I got in there soon after, too. They have two locations, in near downtown Meridian and in Caldwell. Been to both locations and saw the same doctor and assistant, Sarah Wilson and Edgar. This whole situation is brand new to me and I was a bit apprehensive, but I need not have been. Both were so friendly and took their time to explain everything. Sarah is very knowledgable and she has my trust. Recently had to go in for a second look-see as my pain has increased-dang those family genes. They got me in right away and again I was met with professionalism and friendly folks. Now, I get to experience some physical therapy (review later on that one).

I had a bone density scan this week at St. Luke's Eagle location. A majority of my appointments…read moreusually take place downtown or in Meridian. So, it was nice to have a 5 minute drive to my appointment since this office is down the road from me. The receptionist here is so nice! The downtown location should take a couple lessons from the Eagle location. The receptionist smiled at me. She was kind asking me my general check in questions. She had personality. These basic skills are lacked in 90% of the people who work in registration downtown. If I can have all my appointments here, I would. I hung out in the waiting area till it was my turn. Zach, the imaging tech called me back to the scanning room. He went through the process of the scan with me and guided on how my properly lay on the scan machine. He had me position my legs differently for a couple scans. And before I knew it, I was done. It was quite an easy process which was nice. My other appointments require getting poked at. The Eagle office is night and day compared to Downtown. They are so nice here. It's a smaller facility with an Urgent Care unit which is nice for non emergency visits. It bums me out that I have to deal with the rude receptionists and security check in staff when I'm Downtown. But it was nice to see how the other half are treated at this location. I will have to get more appointments fulfilled here. I leave happy which is nice.

On day 2 of being there the medical staff put him in a room and simply forgot about him as he was unable to handle the treatment. After a week of being there he told me his wound have never been even looked at. I called a nurse in and he didn't know anything about my husband's wound. He did a poor job of cleaning the would and two days later my husband went into shock. The doctor refused to believe me when I told her he was in shock and said he was joking when he told her the president of the United States was Hilary Clinton (it was Obama at the time). He ended up in their ICU with a staph infection. Most of the patients there had staph at the time and I just didn't realize it until my husband got it too. After a few days in their ICU he was moved back into his room again. Within a week I received a call informing me that I needed to go to St. Al's as my husband was having breathing issues. I went in a collected his things the day he was transferred and not a single staff member would speak to me or even look at me. His room was a mess. It looked like someone had tossed it looking for something. He spent 14 days in St. Al's ICU but never recovered and passed away. Not one word from SIACH after that day. They also refused to send claims in to my husband's insurance and actually told me it was not their responsibility to send claims. I have informed all my friends and family not to ever put me in that awful place and if you have a family member that needs rehab I would recommend any other place but SIACH.
