I have been seeing N.P. R Slade Thacker at this location for over six years. My entire family has…read morebeen seen there and we've been happy until we received a notice one week prior to his exiting the practice ,interestingly enough out of the six providers that they sent in the letter four of them are not taking patients that need to receive medication's for issues. I have never been treated so rudely in my life until dealing with their staff, so now I'm left to find Decent Care on my own !!!I hope that anyone who reads this stays very clear of this location in Caldwell. They are literally no help. I finally got my last-minute medication which I can't even go off of ...this place is a joke don't ever go near there if you want actual care.. Sadly they have missed the mark by a mile. Runaway don't walk.

I was referred to West Valley Spine and thought, "Okay, it's going to be a long time before I hear from them to set up an appointment." Wrong. They contacted me a couple of weeks later and I got in there soon after, too. They have two locations, in near downtown Meridian and in Caldwell. Been to both locations and saw the same doctor and assistant, Sarah Wilson and Edgar. This whole situation is brand new to me and I was a bit apprehensive, but I need not have been. Both were so friendly and took their time to explain everything. Sarah is very knowledgable and she has my trust. Recently had to go in for a second look-see as my pain has increased-dang those family genes. They got me in right away and again I was met with professionalism and friendly folks. Now, I get to experience some physical therapy (review later on that one).

I suggested they let her and my wife go in while I do sign in papers so that we waist no time. the front desk lady did not care and made us wait. about 6 minutes went by before I TOLD her that she's going into the room to get check now. we get in and the nurse waisted 15 minutes asking questions and getting weight and height. the doctor came in and mentioned she has either the flu or rsv. however he would not test because she has a healthy fever. no dehydration and there would be no need to test even though treatment for both are different especially when a child is asthmatic. and the fact that kids are dieing from this they do not care. this place is trassh. Google tool down our review last year from when my wife had Covid the review for then is as follows: On august 22 2021. My wife was dropped off for having asthma issues while dealing with at first was thought to be a stomach bug being that day earlier she was tested negative for covid. They did not check her into a room. They performed the eapid covid test and told her she was diagnosed with covid. Hmm a diagnosis from anon certified care physician. Anyway. At this moment not all that bad but very annoying they didnt get her a room. Diddnt do anything to help with her asthma and chest pain. Actually instead heres what they did. I get a call from my wifebto come get her. Me naturally thinking shes in a room and i have time to get baby in car seat and drive back into town. But then I received another call from my wife and her crying and telling me they gave her a folding chair and was told to sit outside the er doors. Mind you its 62 degrees out and raining now at almost one in the morning. When i arrived i went into the facility and aggravatingly and aggressively ask why is my wife sitting outside. The heavy set bald guy at the desk told me it is company policy that covid patients sit outside being the are contagious. I proceeded to tell the man and the other women that entered the room that they were worthless in allowing them to treat a human being like a dog, kicked to the street. They threatened to call the cops in which at tht time i did not care. But finished saying what i had said and left. I want st alphonsis to know that me and mine will not be using this hospital anywhere But instead will go out of our way to drive further away to see care from any other heath care providers. These people are poorly trained and do not care for you.

They put me on heart monitor for only 4 days and told me I can just go on weight loss shot.. urgent care was also very disrespectful they actually asked me like five times if I was pregnant I kept saying no. They also wouldn't take my insurance even though my insurance called them two times and they messed up my billing by putting all my appointments as emergency room visits.. I chose a new primary dr with st alphonsus and with in just two weeks They diagnosed me with pcos and pots. NOTE TO SELF it isnt always about weight and if I hadn't gone to new dr idk where I'd be right now especially with my heart issues... if you have pcos or pots I wouldn't go to them they said them selfs to me they don't know how to treat it. On a side note my husband step dad went there for while trying to figure out why his health was declining so fast. They ran test couldn't figure it out and lied said he died to alzheimer's... which isn't what happened his family will never know why or what happened all because the dr wouldn't listen but to lie on paper about that..

We saw Dr. Roy - and since strep was negative and due to other symptoms, it was said he has Mono. The doctor wrote a note for my son to miss two weeks of school, but when my son asked if he could still go to basketball if he felt up to it - the doctor told him yes! Go support his team! What?! That is crazy to me - especially since he wrote the opposite on the chart notes. My son continued to get worse - typical Mono symptoms. I called in Friday morning to see if the doctor may be able to prescribe steroids (this can help with extremely sore and swollen throat) and was told I would get a call from the doctor. At 1:30pm I called back fearing that the pharmacy would close and he would have to suffer the weekend. The lady on the phone at 1:30 asked a few more questions and stated that the doctor may be able to get him the steroids, or a mouth rinse that could help the symptoms, and that the primary physician on staff would be calling me soon. I waited all day - no call. Now I'm back at a different Urgent care in Star - and when I called Valor this morning - the lady said the doctor never planned to call- that I would have needed to bring my son back in yesterday. I would have done that if the person I spoke with told me that!! They do not have the patients best interest, cannot give accurate information, and should not be in business if they cannot give patients the correct information. Drive over the hill to get better care.
