A con is that the smaller kid activities is way on the other side from the bigger kid activities so if you have kids of different ages, you have one bored and just hanging until the other is done in their section. The food was decent for the most part. The funnel cake bites, turkey leg, and kettle corn were good. The elote corn was eh. The food was decently priced. To get in is $20 each which to me, is a little pricey. There should be kid pricing in my opinion. Parking is ok. They did let a car in front of us hold the line up to wait for a car to leave but when we tried to do it, they made us move. Understandable but rules should be the same for everyone. Most staff was nice. On the way out, they asked about taking a family photo. We declined. My son was on the props I guess (it wasn't labeled and no one was there taking pictures) and one staff was like "this is where we take our pictures just so you know." That was interesting. Maybe post a sign. Not my top pick, but it was a decent time.

From start to finish, my experience with Moon Valley Nursery in Avondale was not just good--it was beyond exceptional. Honestly, 10 out of 5 stars isn't even enough. Wesley Erwin, the sales rep, set the tone right away--professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me make the right decisions. I am wheelchair bound and not knowledgeable about AZ plants and trees. BUT Wesley took time and care and walked us through every single little question we had with a smile!! Wesley even put me in a UTV vehicle to drive us around the entire lot as we looked and quizzed him!! He is a wonderful man with a big heart and a love for his job! Then came Javi and his planting crew, and that's where things went to another level. Javi may be a young man, but he carries himself with the pride, work ethic, and integrity of an old soul. You can hear it in his voice, feel it in his handshake, and see it in every detail of his work. That kind of character is rare. His crew? Fast. Efficient. Respectful. And genuinely friendly--something you don't always see these days. They worked hard, worked smart, and treated me with real care and respect as a disabled veteran. Because of this team, Moon Valley Nursery has earned my loyalty--no question about it. If you're looking for top-tier service and people who truly take pride in their work, this is the place. These guys are the real deal--the best of the best.

One branch was hanging outside the truck and had been stripped clean from the freeway drive to my place. A few other branches were broken. I took some photos and called Moon Valley. The manager invited me to come pick out a new tree. Fair enough. But when my wife and I show up the manager has a salesperson deal with us while he sits slumped in a chair, hands stuffed in the pockets of his hoody, and sun glasses on. He does not greet us. Does not remove his sunglasses as any professional would. And there is no apology. Instead, he pouts like a nine year old who just had his e-bike taken away.. I wouldn't even bother posting this review if it weren't for the pissy manner were treated by the guy in charge. So here is what I want to say 1. It's not the customer's fault when you deliver a sickly mistreated tree. 2. If you feel expectations are too high then don't charge the highest prices in the valley. 3. If you feel your prices are right then bring your service up to match them. My experience was at the Avondale location. For all I know the other Moon Valley locations have a better grip on customer service.

They have a great selection of all kinds of trees as well as fruit trees. I wanted one lemon tree, one orange tree, one peach tree and one plum tree. Jason explained all the different varieties of each. I chose a Meyer lemon tree, one Cara Cara orange tree, one Desert Gold peach tree and one Santa Rosa plum tree. I also spoke with Barb about the care of all the trees, she took the time to give me detailed care explanations on each tree. That really help and she really knows a lot about plants and trees. The crew that delivered and planted the trees were very prompt, skilled and polite. I am very pleased with my whole experience with Whitfill nursery. From the price of the trees to the level of customer service I received. Everyone I interacted with from the time I walked onto the their property to the delivery and the planting of the trees are wonderful. Thank you! Whitfill Nursery.

I shouldn't need to walk all the way back up front to ask -- and I've been giving the wrong information before anyhow. Its important to know what kind of plant you're buying for multiple reasons. The other Whitfill location (off Guadalupe and Cooper) doesn't have this issue. Overall I think the plants are pretty healthy but after having an issue with lack of labeling (on both the kind of plant and pricing), having been given the wrong plant info on a plant, and after having asked if they had Pink Fairy Duster and being sent off in a direction to wander and never find it on my own, I'm really over this location.

We'll just a few months later after purchasing the "Home Depot warranty" ( it's not cheap) The ice Maker goes out, so I try & call for service... The 3rd party "AllState" Co. is managing the service so I'm on the "txt only" Line to some non-spelling person ( a bot can't be this bad at spelling via txt) ... 2.5 hours later I'm still going back and forth ( I know I need a tech to come out but they want me to defrost my entire fridge, again to make the fridge work properly). So after repeatedly dropping me from the call center ( after 3 mins of non txting you will get dropped & must start all over again from scratch with redundant questions) Finally "I get the game" So now I copy & paste the same information on me repeatedly every 2 mins so I'm not dropped from the call. The game is to make you wait 3 mins of not texting so your dropped and get frustrated and repair the fridge at my own cost. ( while they "allegedly" look into the problem. I finally got them to schedule me for an in-house repair but it was exhausting!!!! Shame on you Home Depot! Shame on you all for doing this to loyal customers! I'm pissed off! FIX THIS SHADY MESS!

Very disappointed with my mattress purchase from American Furniture Warehouse…read more The mattress has caused ongoing back aches and other body pain instead of providing proper support. A mattress should improve sleep, not create health issues. The warranty claim process was extremely difficult and frustrating. Filing a claim took far too much effort, and when an inspector was finally sent out, it felt like the decision had already been made before he arrived. My claim was denied because he said he found a stain on the mattress, which came across as a convenient reason to reject the warranty rather than a fair inspection. I would not recommend American Furniture for mattresses or major purchases. As a social media influencer with millions of followers, I believe in sharing honest experiences, and I will be releasing a full video soon detailing this experience so others can make an informed decision. ----------------- Response to AFW comment: Hello, Thank you for the response, but I respectfully disagree with how this was handled and would like to clarify a few points. While the mattress is over five years old, that is exactly why a long-term warranty matters. Normal use over time should not automatically invalidate a warranty claim, especially when the primary issue is loss of support causing back pain and physical discomfort. Also, to be clear, there was no major stain on the mattress. The claim was denied based on a minor mark that does not affect the structure, support, or performance of the mattress, which was the actual concern being reported. When customers purchase a mattress with a warranty, it is the store's responsibility to clearly explain what can void that warranty at the time of sale. It was never explained that a minor, non-structural mark could result in a complete denial years later, regardless of the defect being claimed. The issue here is not whether mattress covers are recommended. The issue is that the warranty process felt designed to deny claims rather than fairly evaluate them. The inspection appeared predetermined, and the stain was used as a blanket reason to dismiss the complaint without addressing the actual problem of support failure. Saying this is "industry standard" does not make it acceptable. Customers reasonably expect a warranty to protect them from defects, not to be nullified by common, non-structural issues after years of normal use. I am sharing my experience so others can make informed decisions, and I will be releasing a full video soon detailing this process and why it felt unfair and dismissive.
