Toddler and infant clothing they get donated to them for free & they're pricing them outrageous amounts.

This store is insane. I dont know who is in charge of their pricing but they need fired and they need someone with common sense and a dang heart to run the place. The workers are almost always ignorant. They get their inventory by donations & they mark prices up so high it's insane and then have the audacity to put trash on their shelves with a stinker tag in it. Disgusting. Check the Google reviews too. All the images of priced items are insane.

I saw reviews about this place will overpriced, but there weren't any photos and I wanted to see for myself. We drove 2 hours to this thrift store and let me just say, the reviews are right. I took photos to show insanely priced the stuff is. Wouldn't recommend this place. You also have to use self checkout.. at a thrift store? There were coats for $50 too.. the most insane pricing I've ever seen at a "thrift" store!

We stopped into Valley Thrift a lot because you never know what you're going to find in there. I would say it is more like 3.5 Stars. The place is always busy even if you go in mid morning or afternoon on a work day. As you make your way into the entrance you will see larger Furniture pieces either side of the door. They have jewelry, small items, clothes for men, clothes for women, clothes for children, and shoes for all. Prices are a bit higher than they used to be but you can still find a pair of jeans for $2.99 if you take the time to look. What I do not like about going here is the dressing room situation. They only let you take a few items in and with their prices you may have a lot more than a few items so it becomes painful getting to try on everything and there is also not enough of the dressing rooms. My suggestion is to wear clothes that you can put clothes on over and just use the mirrors that are found at the end of some of the aisles. Overall if you are looking for a bargain on something that is used or maybe you find one with tags then this is your spot.

One of the top thrift stores I've been too! This place is massive and I was impressed with how well kept it was with such a large inventory. My wife loves going to thrift stores and this store was one of our favorites. There are a few times where the items are overpriced but overall you'll still find great deals. The staff was pleasant and able to point you in the right direction of what you are looking for. There was this sweet older gentleman lining up the books who was very knowledgeable and gave some great recommendations. The majority of the items were in good condition and only needed a little TLC. Only two negative points.... some of the prices are to high for a thrift stores and it got hot in the buildings making it somewhat uncomfortable during in the middle of shopping. If you do early morning shopping or it's not the middle of a hot summer day I would think you'll be ok.

items like jackets blankets and clothing that does not sell in the stores should be donated to shelters and clothing drives.

When I saw Unsung Salvage was open, I was so excited I did a U-turn. I was glad no one I had to…read moreexplain my enthusiasm to was around. This store blew me away. They print and sell their own shirts. Largely Hamilton shirts but a few of their own. They can do custom work if you ask, too. On shirts or furniture. Or business cards. Pretty much everything. The store is this big jumble of jewelry and old toys. T-shirts and framed pictures and signs. There's a huge map painted on the wall. It's bright and cheery, lending a sort of "We love Ohio" feel with a warm and familiar reminder of a schoolhouse. It's fantastic. The number of shirts there is pretty impressive. I had one printed. I had so many questions, I'm sure I was a bit obnoxious, but everyone was incredibly nice. I even had a tour of the facilities, including the back part of the store where the big dryer for the ink on shirts is and the big six shirt silk screener is. All the reclaimed materials they use for newly designed pieces and art pieces is back there, too. They were making a huge desk for the tattoo place down the street when I walked through the shop. It was gorgeous. Unsung Salvage is run by a bunch of family members and it feels like it. It's a really nice space. Relaxed. It smells nice. I don't know if it's paint fumes or potpourri. Either way. Some places are uncomfortable to shop in or I just feel strange asking questions but shopping here, talking to everyone, purchasing, supporting my city, it made me really proud. I'd love to learn how to do what they do. They said they might be working on a screen printing night event. Unsung Salvage also makes appearances at events such as Operation Pumpkin. If you aren't just driving by, maybe call first to check the hours. It's worth it. Street parking in front of the store is limited but if you go around the side of the block there is very convenient "pocket parking" available. Be sure to check out the lights on the ceiling. They're from the Champion Paper Mill.
