I wanted to be done at my home with a myriad of other work. deck redid, a new lawn, and waterfront restoration all pretty big labor-intensive jobs.was told by him he could do everything ..... I started with an embankment clearing job I wanted to be cleared he and his crew worked for 5 hours! and they were done for the day but not the job !!!! also changing the day coming thur a text annoyed I worked thur this change however his day started at about 1030am work was nilly willy with poor planning and lack of leadership of his crew he left a mess and the job incomplete. ., some to my fault as I wasn't specific enough about what I wanted to be cleared eye-roll, nor did I look before he left after payment so I had to pick up some remaining debris and it's still not complete so I called him to ask if he could give me an estimate to finish but when I wanted to talk specifics about it he got defensive and argumentative before and after I called I asked if he could give me an estimate for a whole day it was a bigger job than I think he estimated and one I didn't want to do myself why I was paying to complete it but I still wanted it done and be more specific and even pay more than I already spent he felt his work and time was good enough ? I guess all he wanted was a 5-star review but not to complete the job to any kinda satisfaction so I would have a detailed conversation with him or you will have to put on baby gloves to deal Brandon Chaffee to get any project you will want to be completed at your home DONE! he's the type that will throw his hands up and go and leave your property a mess as he wants to come n go on his time not yours so beware. I have to find and go with someone else an adult to complete and do the rest of the work I would like done at my home .

My house had a couple things that needed to be corrected and he told me about them and what he was going to do to fix it. They went above and beyond while here working - and even took down my Christmas lights! (Which they totally did not need to do - but offered to because they "had the ladders out anyway"). I'm a first time homeowner and this was my first high dollar improvement, which made me quite nervous - after working with this company, I can honestly say I feel very good about my choice and already have a few other things to call them back for! I highly recommend.

So I wish I could say anything good about this company but I cannot…read more To be fair, I sued Brian Getto in small claims court and I didn't present my case well, likely because I didn't prepare my pictures well, and I should have gotten a better contract, but I liked Brian, and he did me wrong when I trusted him and I shouldn't once the job began. He took a job to replace a front door, some screen doors (front and back), and sand and refinish all the woodwork in the house. The first part he did fairly well other than breaking the wood under the door sill and needed to be fixed, but his woodwork is to use a word, pathetic. He used a power sander to strip stained wood to bare, and then realized, hmmm, this won't work, and then when he went to replace the rest of it, he hurried thru it, not even being sure the boards were attached to the wall, He did a horrid job staining the boards and attached boards with obvious defects to the wall (when the were attached at all), and many of the corners are not joined properly. Honestly, its an absolute disaster. He had to cut some boards to fit the baseboards and he even cut them wrong in his hurry to get out of there. Honestly, he priced it wrong, he was in over his head, and I made the mistake of trusting him. Oh, he is NOT registered as a MA home improvement contractor, nor does he carry the required insurances. I have forwarded that to the Attorney General's office.

We also wanted the front peak of the house and the flooring of the front porch painted. We also needed a storm door, and two windows replaced on the back of the house as the windows were old and the casement around the door was all rotted. Dan's quote was very reasonable compared to the other quites and we decided to go with Dan. Once he got the permits, Ruslan and Alex came and got to work. They first worked on the front part of the house doing the painting and also adding some hand rails to the front steps which we also requested. Then they did a great job taking apart the old porch and rebuilding the new one. When that was close to completion, Sergey and Vasily came and replaced the windows and storm door.
