There are so many reviews out there where friends are posting reviews of businesses to make the business look better, but this is an honest and professional review about B Picky Pools. I've never had better care for my pool. Brandon is conscientious about his work and genuinely cares about his clients. He is a perfectionist and knows what to do with any issues your pool may have. He keeps the chemicals at the proper level and communicates well if parts are needed or anything is not right. I've been using B Picky Pools for a couple of years after firing my last two incompetent companies. I've never had any problems, nor have I ever had a green or cloudy pool. Brandon keeps my pool sparkling year round. I really like him too, he's trustworthy and has a good personality. If I ever have a question orconcern he responds to me immediately. I gave him the key to my gate and he shows up every Tuesday as scheduled. Some pool companies are very unreliable, they change days or they just don't show up at all thinking you won't notice, but not Brandon. This is his company and it's grown since I met him because he cares very much about his clients and the quality of his work. I refer him to many of my friends and will continue to do so. Thanks for all of your hard work Brandon, even in the heat of the miserable Arizona summers when the temps are at 115 and higher. You're the best!!

This company provided weekly pool maintenance at the home I shared with my then-partner. My concern…read moreis with professional boundaries and the owners' response when I raised it. I personally saw sexually explicit messages and nude photos sent by the female co-owner Summer to my then-partner, along with discussions about meeting up. When I brought this to her husband, who also serviced our pool weekly, he characterized her behavior as friendliness and declined to get involved. I recognize that my former partner was responsible for his own choices. However, I also expect professional boundaries from business owners providing services to our household. I would not hire this company.

Incredible pool company, with incredible service!…read more My 83-year-old friends pool filter started leaking, and there it was being blown back into the pool. Contacted several pool companies, to receive bids: Hydro Werx Bitch came back, very reasonably priced, outstanding communication, I was texting when he was on his way to the property, and send pictures of the progress. I live in Northern California, and my 83 year-old friend lives in Phoenix. As his POA, I manage all of his affairs. The owner of this company made it so easy for me, and the communication, professionalism, pictures, and explanations, we're just top-notch! I cannot possibly recommend Hydro Werx more highly! WOW!!! Take a look at the before and after pictures!

I still paid my regular monthly payment then questioned the company politely as maybe they switched my house on the route and I was missing the guy when he came. After getting a fairly unpleasant response I let the matter go. A month later I noticed they had not taken the regular monthly payment, when I questioned again I got no response. I followed up with 2 additional emails to ensure I was not neglecting payments on work done. However still no response. I am pretty disappointed as again they had such a good first impression but maybe my service was no longer worth it to them. I would just advise future client caution as they might start service without finishing...

Just used Todd's services to replace a pool pump with a new federally required variable speed…read moremotor. They are pricey at $1,267 but a three year old federal law will not let you replace a pool motor that goes bad with a $300 replacement motor. (Like me, I'll bet many pool owners are not aware of this.) I checked around and prices were the same with other pool companies. Those companies did not have valid contractor licenses with the state. For a price over $1,000, Arizona law requires that the work be performed by a licensed contractor. I went on www.azroc.gov which is for the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and through a search there found Always Clean. The installation was great and it took him a little over two hours including the training of how to use the computer system it has. You can spot a true professional by how accurately they can perform a repair or install task. Also, they can troubleshoot any existing problems with ease. Todd made it look easy. There is no way that I could have done it. When your kids or grandkids swim in a pool you want absolute safety. Hiring a licensed contractor is worth it.

When I hired Dr. Aqua I made it clear that I was running a vacation rental. He also had plenty of time to look at all of my equipment. He told me that he would treat my pool with care. Dr. Aqua agreed to charge me a set monthly fee. The first month it was double the agreed upon rate, I paid it. The second month it was triple! Dr. Aqua decided to quit servicing me without properly notifying me. He left me pool green and disgusting. I would run from this guy, he rather scam you then make money and clean your pool. Below are the disgusting images of how he left my pool, in 20 years of owning our home I have never had a pool service this dishonest. Instead of owning up to leaving my pool disgusting and not charging me, he thinks threatening is a good approach. Luckly, I have a great pool guy now that is not dishonest and knows how to use the equipment provided to get a clean pool. Good luck Dr. GreenPool.
