And this ACE Hardware Store on 2303 Williamson Rd NE, in Roanoke, Virginia, is a perfect example. ACE ultimate goal is "to be the most helpful hardware store for customers, offering quality products and convenient shopping experiences with expert advice." Through personal experience I have found out that their employees go the extra mile for its customers. And they have such a variety of products, that throughout the Seasons I like visiting the store because you never know what you'll find there. Anything from pumpkins to local honey during this time of the year. As a matter of fact, the other day I had to make a gift of local honey, and here is precisely where I found it. As soon as I walked in a friendly young lady greeted me, welcomed me to their store, and made herself available to help me find anything I needed or was looking for. I could see why their slogan "ACE is the place with the helpful hardware folks," was very true indeed. As I walked through the store I was amazed at all the different products they had in such a limited amount of space compared to places like Home Depot and Lowe's. And their prices if you add the excellent service you get are not bad at all. The service they provide is extraordinary. I read in one of their ads that if you purchase one of their large barbeque grills they will go out to your house and put it together. My wife and I just purchased a house in Salem, VA and will have the interior painted before we move…read morein since it is now empty.  There is a Sherwin Williams store just a mile away so we stopped to look at colors.  We were so fortunate to meet your store manager Mason!  He is amazing!!  We arrived at 5:30PM, but he still was very patient in discussing pros & cons of various paint trim lines.  Mason's knowledge and understanding of the various paint characteristics was extremely impressive.  He thoughtfully explained and clarified the advantages of different choices.  He was even very familiar with the local painter we selected and reinforced our choice and provided us with great comfort in our hiring decision. Mason provided us with sample sheets and booklets that were very helpful.  We left the store after posted closing time of 6PM, but Mason never rushed us or made us feel we were delaying his departure.  We are very happy we met Mason and will continue to exclusively use Sherwin Williams paints and Mason's expertise for all of our future painting needs.  We are new to Salem and we will emphasize to others the tremendous personal qualities of Mason as we meet new people.  Please extend to Mason our sincere appreciation for his vast knowledge, being so helpful with his outstanding customer service!!

Furminator brush: Bad product…read moreBad Service No help from Chewy.com Hiding their identity from the public A $40 brush broke, I hadn't even used it that much. So all of the talk of this being a great product, throw that out the window. I bought it through Chewy.com. They were of no help. Trying to locate "furminator," which is the brand name of their product, I could not find it with any rating entity!!! I then saw the name, simply put as furminator.com. To make a yelp complaint, I had to look further to see that they are listed as spectrum products. Even further research on the Yelp site did I find that it is actually listed as Tetra-Spectrum Brands. Are they hiding behind all of these layers? I think so. After all, there are only THREE reviews for them on Yelp. How can a company of this size only have THREE REVIEWS?!?!?!?!?!?

i contacted this company regarding a product purchase. the product, a FURminator dog comb is a…read moreSUPERB product, we got a lot of regular use out of it. a mechanism designed to clear the comb of accumulated hair broke, and so, i contacted this company. with verification the product was legitimate, they promised to send a replacement comb, no charge. that is absolute A-1 service!!! their attention and action has solidified my relationship with their product line and i will not hesitate to purchase more of their products in the future. good business practices promotes more good business.
