The last several gallons of Sherwin Williams have been the absolute worst. No coverage and very very inconsistent. After a discussion with the associate he's says they have never had a complaint. Wow it must be awesome to have a company that is perfect and never has had any complaints being that I'm in business myself I find this very difficult to believe. Just beware of the emerald I paid over fifty dollars a gallon and it is the worst paint I've ever used!

Adam vs Bob. I went into the store looking for a few things for some home improvement projects. I…read moregathered everything per usual asking reps along the way, where is this, where is that, and usually everyone being so helpful. Then came for the last item. I was looking on my phone and it said there were 24 items still available, then I went to the exact location it said it was at. I searched... didn't find anything. I asked a representative where this particular item was, and he showed me the same location. Then I found Adam and told him that it shows there are 24 products still available online but they aren't in the location. Now this guy didn't even have the audacity to lift his head and look me in the eye. I tried to show him my phone showing what it said and the item location but he was short with me and didn't give me the time of day. He seriously didn't even look up from his desk after standing there explaining that it shows you have inventory of this item. Not just 1 or 2 items because sometimes its not there, but 24! He them proceeds to say if its not there its not there, we don't have it. So i take a walk, say "thanks Adam for the help," and go back to the location of where the table might be. I ask another representative named Bob and he looked at my phone, showed true character looking me in the eye and walking me over to the exact station I had been several times before. He looked in the section, welp not there... looked around a bit more.... bingo! Up in the rafters was a whole box of this inventory. He called over a forklift personal and got it all taken care of for me. In the end, thank you Bob for being great at what you do, and taking the time to take care of your customers as a gentleman with class. To everyone else, don't be a Adam. We have had enough of those.... Be like Bob. Be the good in the world and be great at what you do. PS. I later found out Adam was the boss. None the less... don't be a Adam. Be like Bob.

I have called the Customer Service number every day, and they have been unable to give me any information. They have been telling me a rep will call me back in 24hrs for 3 days in a row, nobody has called my phone from Lowes in 3 days. I spent 90 minutes this morning on the phone with Customer Service with the same reply word for word, a representative from Lowes will contact you in 24hrs. When I got off the phone, I called the Beckley Lowes store at 304-250-2000, all I got was an automated phone operator, and was put on hold for over 30 minutes, then the call just went dead. I have never seen Delivery or Customer Service this pathetic. Lowes does not communicate with their Customer Service Representatives (3rd party contractors), and they have no idea/clue who his picking up the order or delivering (another 3rd party contractor). Lowes has given their Customer Service and Delivery Service away to 3rd party contractors that don't even work at Lowes. Once you make your order and pay Lowes, they won't answer the phone, and act as though its out of their hands. I told Customer Service to just cancel and refund my order. I was given a case# and told a rep from Lowes will call in 24hrs. I cant believe a company as big as Lowes would turn their service's over to a 3rd party that does not care about Lowes customers. Pathetic

Then we bought exterior paint, and while the paint was great (highly recommended by our painter), I found 2 employees to be extremely nice and helpful and one to be rude and a snob (former owner I believe and I've heard this from others, although I do think she's knowledgeable). There are other options for paint stores in our area, so please just keep this in mind and be helpful and nice!

And they have such a variety of products, that throughout the Seasons I like visiting the store because you never know what you'll find there. Anything from pumpkins to local honey during this time of the year. As a matter of fact, the other day I had to make a gift of local honey, and here is precisely where I found it. As soon as I walked in a friendly young lady greeted me, welcomed me to their store, and made herself available to help me find anything I needed or was looking for. I could see why their slogan "ACE is the place with the helpful hardware folks," was very true indeed. As I walked through the store I was amazed at all the different products they had in such a limited amount of space compared to places like Home Depot and Lowe's. And their prices if you add the excellent service you get are not bad at all. The service they provide is extraordinary. I read in one of their ads that if you purchase one of their large barbeque grills they will go out to your house and put it together.
