We spend a couple months in south Texas every winter. I desperately needed a pedicure but had a…read morehard time reaching them by phone. Knowing small businesses get really busy, I stopped by to get an appointment. Super friendly. The very next day, I was getting my toes done and she took care of ingrown toenails with the least amount of pain I've ever experienced. The vibe was small town folks caring about each other, which I love.

I've o my done gel on my feet twice in my life. Years ago. I don't need gel color on my feet, so I don't get it. Anyway, I said to her that I needed regular color. She said "ok. It's extra $5 for remove gel" (that she said was on my feet from the color she had removed from my previous pedi. Again, I don't do gel on my feet). I had glitter nail color on my feet. Not gel. By this time I was already not satisfied with how she rushed thru my pedi while she was on the phone most of the time, so I didn't feel like arguing the point over $5. I had to point out and ask if she could please scrub one area of my feet a little more. I don't know why I went here again. Last time I was there a different young lady rushed thru my pedi and she was looking physically ill. I just get this "let's hurry up and do you haphazardly and get your money and get you outta here" vibe at this place. 100% would not recommend. 100% not going back.

She gave a great massage, didn't hurt me while trimming or filing the toe nails, and didn't engage in meaningless chitchat. Al great. The only downside was the couple with their small children. The baby (probably 2-3) screamed his head off and the toddler ran amok, even sitting on and tipping over one of the chairs. The man was finished with his services, and instead of taking the kids out of the spa, he just sat there. Oblivious to the other people around. I would definitely return for another pedicure when in town!
