Came in from out of town. Went in for a pedicure. Picked a color. When it was time to apply nail color the person doing my feet was about to do gel color. I've o my done gel on my feet twice in my life. Years ago. I don't need gel color on my feet, so I don't get it. Anyway, I said to her that I needed regular color. She said "ok. It's extra $5 for remove gel" (that she said was on my feet from the color she had removed from my previous pedi. Again, I don't do gel on my feet). I had glitter nail color on my feet. Not gel. By this time I was already not satisfied with how she rushed thru my pedi while she was on the phone most of the time, so I didn't feel like arguing the point over $5. I had to point out and ask if she could please scrub one area of my feet a little more. I don't know why I went here again. Last time I was there a different young lady rushed thru my pedi and she was looking physically ill. I just get this "let's hurry up and do you haphazardly and get your money and get you outta here" vibe at this place. 100% would not recommend. 100% not going back. read more

Went here to have my pedicure and refill but ended up needing my acrylic nails removed. The wait was a bit long but there were busy at that time. The individual that did my pedi and nails was very nice. She was able to do my nails how I was imagining them. She did my round nails has requested where other places refuse because I always get them short. I was pleased with my natural look nail dip. Had many complements. Pricing was a bit steep though, I want to say it was maybe because of the removal of the previous nails. I really loved the nail dip results so will definitely consider returning. read more

I was excited to get a manicure before the holidays. I went in for a shellac manicure. While a lady began to prep my nails, I declined my cuticles being cut. She promptly got up and left without a word. The man who was prepping my sister's nails hopped over to start painting my nails leaving my sister with her hands wrapped in foil for 30 minutes. He quickly painted my nails leaving them looking sloppy. The manager, who was working on a client next to me, finished and was sitting at the computer with my sister still sitting in her chair with foil on her hands. She asked him if he could take the foil off and he hesitantly said yes, but then didn't continue working on her nails, and continued to leave her waiting. I was completely unsatisfied with my nails because the edges weren't clean and bumpy. Very strange. I've never had such an unpleasant experience. I understand everyone is trying their best but this was just the worst. read more

I'm from San Antonio Texas and I ALWAYS come to d&d nails when I'm in town and regardless of who I have I always give them a 5 star rating. They always do a great job and give me great service. Regardless if there's a wait I'd wait to get my nails done here. They always last me if not the 2 weeks longer. I sometimes have to go back at home and they never last. It will continue to be my go to nail spot. They have so many shellac colors and keep up with new trends!! read more

This place is in the strip mall by Jason's Deli and near Academy. I didn't have to wait too long, so that was good. I got a shellac mani - the color has stayed on for over a week with no signs of chipping! Yay! However, when I first got my nails done the guy painted the shellac on quite a ways away from my cuticle so it already looked like I had had them done a week earlier. So now it just looks trashy. Long story short, I walked out of there with nails that looked like they needed a fill (even those they are my natural nails). And I got my eyebrows done...in a word? DON'T. This was the most painful waxing experience I've ever had, and I've been doing my eyebrows for years. It hurt enough that tears were streaming out of my eyes (a first for me) and the woman stopped and said "oh, does it hurt?" And I am wiping my face off and saying yes! She said "oh, so you've never had your eyebrows done before." Ripppp!!!!!! There was no pressing on it after the strip was pulled off, no menthol oil (or whatever is usually used elsewhere), and I now have the tiniest sparsest eyebrows ever that aren't even as wide as my eyes - worst job ever! My mother and I went to get gel manis and pedis had to wait about 25 mins to get worked when there were only 3 other customers. When we got home my mom showered and we noticed one set of nails was darker than her other foot!! Well it turns out that they did one set of nails thermal, which looks stupid when she go to the beach or showers. The color I chose was not accurate. I wont be returning. read more
