My brothers car died on the freeway and this was the closest auto shop he can find. They came and towed him back to the shop. The mechanics told him they couldn't find out what was wrong...really? A mechanic can't figure out what was wrong? They recharged his battery and still charged him $211?! Really?! I get the tow was $100. Understandable. But $111 to tell him they didn't know what was wrong and to pump a little charge into the battery and send him on his way? Trash. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The battery was long dead. How hard was that to figure out? Ripoff. read more

I had a problem with my RV trailer tires wearing excessively on the outside edges. A RV Repair place recommended "Straight Line" for an wheel alignment. Their parking lot is hug plenty of room to pull a RV in and park. I had an appointment and they were on it in 5 minutes. The told me it could be up to 4 hours and it was all done in 2.5 hours. It was very unusual to get your trailer in and out for work just in a few hours. I was very happy with their service and prices. I highly recommend them. read more

Where do I start with these people? Their towing company is a joke, they talked us into having the car taken to them instead of somewhere reputable. I told them that I had started working on the car and what to be aware of. They "fixed" the car and I got it back and it broke 10 minutes later and caused about $3000 worth of damage. They proceeded to blame us and charge us for another tow. Then, they continuously promised us daily that our vehicle would be done the following day or they would promise to call us the next day and then we wouldn't receive a phone call. Finally when we went in to pick up the car, they blamed everything on us and said everything was our fault. I am a certified mechanic and I did not have time to do the work myself, that is the only reason why we took it somewhere else. Being a certified mechanic, I am well aware of what has happened in this situation and the liability on this company. They could've gotten Somebody killed with their negligence having thrown this vehicle together with bad parts. And last but not least, when we finally picked up the car again, they told us that all the parts were brand new and that they are not going to warranty their work. If the parts are brand new why wouldn't you warranty your work? Do not use this place, they will just rip you off. Both Alex and George are completely useless. The only good person they have working for their entire company is James our first tow truck driver. He's the only one who has a moral compass. I only gave them one star because it wouldn't allow me to give them negative stars. read more

So I was on my way to work and my Lexus died on the freeway. I heard about this place from some friends as I needed a tow and the car repaired I gave them a call. First off they told me the driver would be there in 45 minutes to pick up my car, he was actually early. Never had that with a tow company before. It's usually twice the time they estimate. The drive was extremely nice and had my car loaded and on it's way to the shop in no time. When I arrived at the shop Tony checked me in. After I explained what happened he said they would call me in a few hours after they found out what was wrong. Tony called a few hours later explain the alternator was shot. He told me what the estimate was at that time, explained when the part would be in and that there may be additional electrical damage caused by the alternator but wouldn't know till after they got it up and running. While they had it I had them check a few other things the dealership told me I needed after my last visit. Tony called me the next day and told me there was no additional damage. He also had his Toyota master mechanic look at the other issues. The mechanic told him my motor was notorious for the issues the dealer listed but they didn't need to be fixed on my vehicle. Lets just say the dealer and other places I called wanted a few thousand to fix said non-issues. Bottom line, the entire experience was great. It's also nice to finally find a mechanic in this city I can trust. I would highly recommend anyone to take their vehicle here for repair. read more

My son's car (BMW) broke down and needed to be towed and repaired. We got a very high quote of at least $4500. So we can't really afford that so we had it towed to Babbitt Auto Werks and they repaired it for less than $700. I get that auto repairs are expensive but I would sure think twice before letting them fix your car. read more

Family members from out of town had issues with their van and I needed it serviced on short notice. When all the other Dodge Dealerships in the valley told me they could not service it for a week, Edward James in the service department made time for me. Although they too were backed up with service and had a minimal staff for the Labor Day weekend, he understood the urgency and made sure my family would feel safe and secure in their vehicle on the return trip from Phoenix. I needed to get an oil change but I was in unfamiliar territory. I found Valley Express on Yelp. I researched a little more about them because they are also a towing company. I chose Valley Express because of the location and what I saw on their website. They have great customer service. Each employee was friendly instead of having me sit awkwardly in the office waiting for my car to be finished. I learned more from them about their company and it boosted my confidence in them. My car did not require the full 5 quarts of oil and they charged me accordingly. I was not overcharged. I recommend anyone to them. They are friendly, helpful mechanics and a trustworthy company. read more

I brought my car into this shop because it needed an alignment. Was told it would take about an hour. 3 1/2 hours later (when the shop was closing) they said my alignment was as good as they could get it. When I got in my car I immediately started to notice something was wrong. My steering wheel was no longer straight and sitting at an 90 degree angle. Not to mention the car now swerves all over the place, now my cars not even drive able. When I called them the next day they tried explaining to me that I must need new ball joints. Well both controls arms (including my ball joints) were replaced 6 months prior. They wanted me to replace the parts & then pay them for another alignment which I thought was complete bs. My car had none of these problems before bringing them into them. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. read more

This place is a joke and the gal who answers the phone needs to learn respect and customer service. Sent my husband who shouldn't be driving on a wild goose chase to get our vehicle. When he was trying to get better directions she hung up on him. So I called and ask for info and she wouldn't give it to me. I am registered owner and she was so rude and disrespectful! I cannot say enough good things about your towing service. Had a major automobile failure on a prominent intersection in Mesa, where the passenger side of my car had a ball bearing break and my tire literally bent in half. Suffice to say, I was quite concerned about the incident and worked up over potential costs. Not only did Gary quickly arrive to tow the car, but he was extremely diligent and meticulous in getting my car onto the tow so not to do anymore damage than already has been done. He also was in a position to really make things difficult financially for me but absolutely went out of his way to make sure I got a fair and more than affordable rate. While a car malfunctioning in the busiest section of Mesa isn't an ideal situation, I want to thank Gary and give him all the credit in the world for making the best of a crappy situation. I hope NOT to have to get towed again anytime soon (obviously), but if I do, I will 100 percent of the time go with Gary and Valley Express. read more
