Leroy's wanted $1800 ($900 an axle) for the work, when we asked for an Itemized bill Jimmy not only refused but said it's all in the work up. The work up???? Having several vehicles never have we had a bill that did not state exactly what the parts, labor and additional work cost! We called and talked to Troy who is either the shop manager or owner about this policy/procedure and he still saw no red flags. Leroy's is a scam and they are pulling prices out of a hat and price gouging the public to fraud and to be unprofessional in their business tactics. Like others have stated, Paul, Mike and the rest of the crew are PAINFULLY honest and forthright; they won't go into any repair unless they explain what needs to be done, in detail, and if the repairs are worth it compared to the value of the vehicle. An example of their honesty: I thought that the neutral safety switch on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler was bad so I bought the part and went to Paul's to have it installed. A few hours later Paul called and said the issue was fixed and that it was nothing more than a dirty connection, which was cleaned and solved the problem. He gave the part back to me to return for a refund when he could have kept it and charged me for installation. My wife has also take her car in a couple of time for minor repairs and they were done FOR NO CHARGE!!! Where else can you get this kind of treatment? Paul's shop is so honest, reliable and reasonable in their charges that I usually just drop off my vehicles and tell them to fix any issues that they discover, knowing full well that they will never jack me around. The only issue that I have is that they are not open on the weekend or holidays, in order to give the crew time off and family time, haha! But, that's the kind of family oriented business that I want to deal with. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough and you'll be extremely pleased if you go there!!

I finally found a auto repair company that does business the way it should be done!…read moreHonest, fast, polite! They will now be our household's new place for auto repair and upkeep. Our Nissan rogue flashed a warning that there was no oil in the car and to pull over immediately. Which we did. We were confused because there didn't seem to be any oil leaks, and the oil plug looked like it was still in place. (my husband neglected to tell me he stopped checking the fluid levels monthly.) As our previous auto mechanic closed his shop, we hadn't had a chance to find a new one. So we looked on yelp and noticed clutch auto was only a few miles away although they seemed fairly new. They had only a couple reviews, but they were positive. So I decided to give them a try and called them and made an appointment for the same day and had the car towed to them. They did a full inspection and did not see anything wrong with the oil other than it needed it. They suggested an oil change however their inspection showed that there was some work that needed to be done on the suspension I requested photos however they had already taken them, which really impressed me seconds later they sent me a full report, including photos showing what needed to be repaired and why. By the end of the day, all the work was done. And I picked it up the next morning. I'm really impressed that they did NOT try to say other work needed to be done, as most other places would. Instead they were honest and explain that they would consider the suspension was in the yellow zone needing to be done soon, but could be put off a little bit if necessary. The cost for a full synthetic oil change was much less than five minute oil, However, I asked if they had a senior citizen discount they did not however they did have a 10% off first time customer discount, which brought the full job (oil change/suspension work) significantly in price.

I had it towed to Auto Electric Specialists and by the next day they had it diagnosed and it wasn't the computer but a bad wire harness. Its an older car (1988 Toyota Celica) so I didn't really expect it to be running again. Approximately one week later, I drove it home. These guys are great at what they do.

Must read before taking to shop!!!…read more Steve and Chuck seem nice enough on the outside but there business practices are very unnerving if not completely shady. I brought my 2005 scion tc in to them after he said he would be able to get it done the next day.The day came went with no word on any progress at the end of that day I called to see if anything was done he said he had not done anything to the car even though there was only 2 cars in front of my own. At this time I became discouraged but had no other option but to leave the car there another day!!! (This car was needed and put us in a major hardship without it) when Steve finally "got around to it" he started that it shouldn't take anymore than an hour and a half even though I was frustrated with Steve's business practices I was very cordial with both him and Chuck. Steve finally finished on the third day and charged me for over 2 hours of work. When I got the car back Steve had me check the headlights to make sure they were working. The car ran and the headlights worked. The first time I drove aty night I was pulled over for my tail lights not working. I attributed this to Steve since they were working fine before hand. I called Steve to see if he could help. Steve said to take the car in and he would get to it if "he had time." Steve did not prioritize my car at all even though he was the last one to work on it and I didn't have the problem before his work. Steve then told me abruptly to bring the car in. Steve then proceeded to make me wait for hours while he got to my car. Steve then deduced that he did not cause the problem. Steve then proceeded to fix the problem without contacting me first and making us overpay for his work. Steve is not a guy I would deal with again although simple and nice his businesses practices are very shady he is also the only electric at an auto electric shop (red flag) There are numerous auto electric company's in this area that I would deal with before I would ever go back to auto electric specialists (there is only 1 auto electrician so even the name is a lie). Head my warning friends don't let the nice guy act fool you into thinking they do good business!
