That means, 100 different CIGNA persons (and probably China database readers) will know the color of your poop, your eating habits and your "picture"- I was told they will take a "picture" of me when I go in- I signed the first form you fill out upon using them *denying* permission for my picture- whatever that is! In all the years Ive used health insurance, NO one has ever demanded a picture. What are they going to do with my picture?? I went in for a very common yet annoying and painful complaint. Three months later, the complaint is still not addressed nor treated. They kept sending me to labs, labs labs- all for different organs etc, yet my initial complaint was not addressed. I do not believe their labs are correct- either that, or an incompetent person is reading them. I am about to visit another lab of my own, without using insurance, and see if the results are read differently- if so, there will be a call to CIGNA's legal department. I would not be surprised to hear if they are fighting several cases as I write.

They are so completely unreliable. If you have to travel like I do and attend meetings and training sessions, you're just going to end up embarrassed, when they just decide to stop working for reasons unknown. When you stop by the store, they put on a big show, but they never really explain any of the technical issues that could be occurring. They just hand you back the hearing aids, tell you to stop by in a few months. Unfortunately in about a weeks time the units have issues. It's just on going with these things. They told me at one point the units were collecting ear wax. I purchased the cleaning device for approximately two hundred dollars. No change, no help. I contacted the company, and their response was to send me a PDF user's manual that doesn't even address the issue of units that don't operate. The manual only addresses paring issues. So to anyone considering this product, I would have to strongly urge you to explore other options. I'm currently out of the country on business, and I have to stop by a local hearing center, and try to get fitted for something, because these things decided to stop working. This was an Eight Thousand dollar rip off. Don't end up like me.

I thought maybe she had a bad day, but my husband saw her on a different day and when he emerged from his appointment he said "I never want to see her again, that was horrible." Again, he went in for one issue and she decided to focus on his cholesterol at 161 which is not even high. But she began to scribble on her note pad to take fish oil, (he said, I took one this morning and her response was "you should have taken 2) flax seed and get a follow up appointment to have labs drawn again. My husband is 60 years old, 6'1, 195 pounds and 15% body fat, impeccable labs, great blood pressure and very low PSA lab because he takes HRT. I would caution anyone from choosing this provider if you don't like being talked down to, berated and intimidated. I have nothing positive to say except we will never be back in her office again.

After living with this condition for 45 years, it is incredibly reassuring to finally have clear answers and a well-defined plan to address it.
