I have extreme anxiety around the dentist and have to be medicated for appointments, and between that and crazy life events have had to cancel appointments in the past (I take full ownership in that). I had to cancel an appointment last week due to being sick and my father being in the hospital, when we called to cancel the office manager answered the phone and was clearly upset, showed no empathy, and was very unprofessional. I called to speak to Tasha the office manager today, broke into tears about this experience as a long term client, and she showed no emotion, was monotone, and clearly was just annoyed I even called. I am now ending my relationship with this practice that I have had since 2009 due to a manager who clearly doesn't how to speak to upset clients or show any empathy. This used to be a small business who cared about people, now they do not view you as humans and instead as transactions.
