The staff acknowledged the fact that there was a huge mistake and it was rather washed in water than being dry cleaned, and the label itself said "laundry". When I brought this up to the associate, they mentioned they needed to speak with their boss(Jeff) to determine if anything could be done to fix it. However, this kind of damage was irreversible. Given the circumstances, I insisted that they compensate me for the jacket, as this was a clear case of negligence. Jeff denied the fact that it was machine washed despite the staff and video proof of jacket being soaked in water, and the label itself saying "laundry", and said I'd have to contact the manufacturer for repair. This experience was extremely frustrating, and I am now left with a completely ruined jacket. If a dry cleaner cannot properly handle high-end garments, they should not accept them in the first place. I expected professional care, but instead, my jacket was completely ruined, and they refused to compensate me for it. I was also charged extra for stain removal on a shirt with tough stains. However, when I picked it up, the stains were still there, exactly the same as before, meaning the extra charge was completely unjustified.

I used Yelp to reach out to a number of Wash/Dry/Fold places. Clean All was quick to respond and offered very reasonable rates. They even made suggestions for me to pass on to the repair people. I guess that makes sense because people who run laundromats have lots of with broken equipment. Anyway, I dropped off a bunch of laundry and it was clean, dry, and folded the following morning. They did a great job and even listened to my requests for some minor special handling. While I was there, I learned they also wash larger items, like weighted blankets, take in dry cleaning, and do alterations. Frankly, before this I never even realized they were there, and I've gone past there store 100s of times. I'll certainly use them for WDF the next time I need it. That may be in a few days since, sadly, the circus is still in town.
