But foolish me, I used the money for new speakers for my study. The whole experience was low-key and relaxed. I'm one happy camper.

I had a great experience working with Donny!…read more Before the installation he carefully planned our set up to get within the budget, presenting different options, and scheduling the job. There were no pressure or up-selling. On the day of the service he was fast and knowledgeable. From start to finish he was very professional. His work was flawless. He took his time to make sure we are satisfied customers. He patiently showed us how to use the Ring app and gave us tons of useful information. He followed up few days after the install to make sure everything was great. On 12/31 Donny spent around 10-12 hours completing the project. He installed several cameras with smart lighting floodlights, windows & doors sensors, smart lock, video doorbell, alarm flood & freeze sensors, motion sensors, chime pro, alarm keypad, WiFi routers, and Alexas. He also installed smart lighting dimmers throughout the house as well as colored LED dimmable smart lights that you can control with your app and voice. He was able to successfully connect doorbell/cameras to the FamilyHub fridge. We were so pleased with the quality of work that was done at our house. It was the most wonderful gift and a great start of the new year!!

They stand by their sale and installs too. My tv broke shortly after it's one year warranty expired. And Jay helped me contact Sony who eventually replaced the tv at no cost! On the audio side of things, Jay has gone out of his way for me and set up some equipment demos and did lots of swaps during the session so I could figure out what sound I liked best. For example, I just listened to the Naim uniti nova and the NAD m33 back to back on the same set of speakers (triton reference). I went into the session expecting to prefer the Naim, a piece of audio equipment I've been ogling for years. But the NAD blew me away and to my ears, was far superior in the aspects of sound that I value. This saved me 2k! It was also just plain fun and I enjoyed the experience. I'll also say that Jay understands the concept of diminishing returns quite well, so he's not just slanging the most expensive stuff. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out. Awesome awesome stuff. Equipment I've bought here: Golden ear triton 1 Golden ear triton reference Sony hapz Peachtree Nova 150 Nad m33 Sony 75 inch xbr something something

They found that the DVR that John sold me a little over a year ago, was very dated and the lowest of quality and was on its last legs. I had the new Company install a name brand DVR and it works fabulously. The Front Gate camera that I mentioned on the last review was grainy and skipped. The new company fixed the settings to make it hi def. Smart Tech obviously didn't have a clue on how to make it work properly. One of the cameras that John moved stopped working because of a faulty wire - duh!. So, this all cost me money, but at least I have a good system and a company that knows what they are doing. Recommendation: If you're going to use Smart Technology: 1. Make sure you do your research on the recommended products and use only name brand - not the crap that Smart Tech makes a huge markup on. 2. Get a copy of their written warranty before doing business with them. 3. Do not pay him until you are totally satisfied. 4. Don't listen to his pitch where he says he is not trying to sell you anything (then he goes ahead and sell you junk). My reviews are 100% factual.

In addition to that, prior to the installation, Kevin (the owner) helped me figure out the best solution for my needs, which was great. The KP Audio team came to our house on schedule and completed the work that day. They had to route wires through several ceiling, crawl spaces and attics, and all of the wall and ceiling penetrations were clean and very neatly done. Needless to say, I was very happy that the installation was so smooth and was impressed with the attention to detail of their installers, not just with the clean holes as I previously mentioned, but in the way they tied all of the wires together and put labels on them so that they were easy to follow in and out of the spaces I can't see. Overall, I couldn't be happier. Very professional!

I needed some basic low voltage hookups, cable internet and wifi, and a sound system installed. I received a high estimate for the work, but agreed to the number without negotiation because I assumed I was going to get 'top shelf' service, and I needed my office set up ASAP. They were very late for their install appointment and offered no apologies. They told me that they only had time to do about 1/2 of the work and would have to come back at a later date to finish. The wifi install was reported as completed, but I could not find a signal to connect to the internet. I eventually discovered where they installed the wifi router, which was put inside a wall in a metal shoebox. The metal casing completely shielded the signal, rendering the device all but useless. When I notified the owner what happend, he wrote back in all caps "THE WORK IS NOT DONE YET". KP Audio made no effort to reschedule the rest of the work on their own, so it was up to me to make that happen. When they did finally come out, about a week later, the technician actually installed the router on the floor: very sloppy. Also, they only finished half of the telephone hookups on the second visit, and yes, yet again, it was up to me to chase these guys around to come back and complete the job! The following week, they came out without any wire masking materials and asked if it was ok to just staple the phone wires to the wall. So now I have a router on the floor and wires stapled to the wall; it's as if I did the installation myself. I cannot recommend KP Audio for the above reasons.
