First time going here I thought they were Domino's I looked up the number for the second closest Domino's from me since the one by Food Max is horrible and they always seem to mess up my order or over cook my pizza ... well when I got there it was shocked that it was Domino's and a little angry ... but the pizza looked delicious and smelled great once I drove with it in my car and took a peep. It was yummy!! I loved it and have since only ordered pizza from them. The delivery has been quick the 2 times I ordered for delivery. Very happy with the service at Vallejo Pizza. I love the fact that you can order online with the option to pay with a credit card or cash. As well as how quick they are, and the fact that they have great prices, and sometimes coupons to give you an extra savings. I have ordered from here twice now and the delivery was speedy. They did make a mistake on my first order by bringing me a pepperoni pizza instead of a Hawaiian pizza (which I didn't see until after the delivery guy left) but I called in and they sent over a delivery guy quickly with the correct Pizza. Kinda sucks, their pizza is actually pretty good. I ordered a pizza at around 5:30, my "estimated delivery" time was 6:30-6:45 , kinda long being I live less than 10 mins away but whatever. Had my phone on me, was just watching tv in the living room waiting. 7:20 rolls around so I decide to call them directly and apparently they've called me several times and was knocking on my door.... no call received. Definitely no knocks on my door. Wanted to charge me an additional $3 for a "re-delivery" fee on top of my order cost. Idk. Foods good and all, first bad experience I've had. Fresh hot pizza with cheese dripping out of it was ready in ten minutes when the order was placed at 10.30 in the night when there were just two other pizza shops in the neighborhood both of who said the minimum wait time for pickup was thirty minutes. The pizza is okay, nothing out of the world. But good and always delivered hot and fresh. I really like the cheesy breadsticks but was kinda disappointed they didn't bring me any ranch with them because I had none in the house and without it they were kind of bland. However the workers are always nice, the food is always hot , and the delivery is usually only 30 minutes. Not really a bad experience but average. I order from them once or twice a month and will continue because they have good prices and good deals. Next time, ill make sure to ask for the ranch when I order though :) read more

Wow! If only I would have known this pizza place before! We always go to popular ones with names and first time to try local. First of all, ordering and arriving on time is a huge factor for me. I ordered online, their large specialty pizza, hawaiian one for $12.99. $12 is minimum for online order. They do charge for delivery, 2.99$ plus tax and of course, tip if you want and I did. The estimated time was 9:22pm, an hour after placing my order online. The delivery guy came at 9:15pm. They will send you email confirmation via Eat24 with like a timer and acknowledgement that your order has been received. The guy called me to let me know he was at my door and it was still in the bag, hot n fresh, he handed it to me. The pizza itself was great, right amount of topping, crust was good, not burnt or raw. Last time I ordered from Domino's took 2hrs and 10mins! And that's my reason for trying this. So from now on, I will try their other pizzas. I recommend this local business, they sure know what business is all about! And most importantly, they care about their customers. read more

I've tried this place a couple of times because you know, I want to support businesses in my town but I have to draw the line somewhere! The delivery person always wants me to come out to their car. I live in a house and all you have to do is walk up to my door. I tip 20% and I don't understand this. It's not a big deal but when I'm just getting out of the shower at 10pm, and now I need to get fully dressed, it's less than ideal. Second, the food is not good. The first time, the pizza was raw in the middle and I had to cook it myself in my own oven and this second time, I ordered thin crust and was delivered basically a huge hunk of bread with some sauce on it. When I called letting them know, the guy on the phone was like, "ok, well I can let the manager know tomorrow." How is this acceptable in any way? You tell me you sell pizza and will deliver it to my door, then you fail to do both of those things? Nah, hard pass. And P.S- get it together, this is basic stuff. I love this town and your acting like it's just all whatever, crap Vallejo. No! Have some respect for your product and the service you provide. read more

This place was great! They were very fast and efficient with their delivery service (told me 45 min but only took 30), the pizza was the right kind of cheesy and the order was correct and delicious. I've only had their roasted garlic chicken, twice. Each time their pizza tasted great! Loved it! My kids loved their pepperoni pizza and said it was delicious. Worst pizza restaurant in Vallejo. Given this place so many chances. I've been a loyal customer for years because I believe is supporting local businesses, but this place absolutely sucks. Over the time of me getting food from this establishment they have proven to be inconsistent in quality and inconsiderate when it comes to customer service. The owner (Neil) is was an absolute jerk to me when I last tried to order a pizza with my credit that was given to me by one of the supervisors due to them getting my order completely incorrect prior. I order the same thing every time, and I told the owner what happened and the name of the employee who gave me the credit. The owners response was " I don't care what happened last time you don't have a credit with me. If you have a problem with that too bad. It's not a big deal to me." This place has been a joke for a while. Making deliveries to the wrong address , delivering someone else's order to my house, not having the pizza ready pick up. It's a big joke. If I could give this place no stars I would. I was very disappointed in the food and the service with my order. I called early to order food to be delivered to my hotel. I asked if they delivered to the area where the hotel was and was told yes, then I asked if they had gluten- free pizza and was told no. I continued to call other places in the area to find that no one could deliver at the time. I called back to order other items from the menu and the same rude man answered "I already told you we don't have gluten- free pizza". I told him i didn't appreciate the way he spoke to me but wanted to order 10 pice chicken wings and the chef salad. I asked if I could order two different flavors of wings and was told no and then ordered Italian dressing for my chef salad and was told that they didn't have any. I also specifically asked for no cheeses on my salad. The man on the phone repeated this direction back to me. To my horror when my salad arrived it indeed had cheese on it. Went to visit the in laws and they told us to order a pizza we did. The pizza had barely any sauce... with a dry ass crust. I have had pizza at various pizza places in Vallejo. I have had Nujos, Napoli and Roundtable. That said, I know good pizza and will not easily give high marks unless it is sincere. I got a flyer in my mail box from Vallejo Pizza, had not heard of them and decided to give them a try. They used to be the Dominos turns out but now they are independent and have changed their menu into what you would find on an Italian restaurant menu but at reasonable and fair prices. I ordered the combo pizza and the buffalo chicken wings. The pizza was made with fresh veggies, and quality sausage and pepperoni. The dough was the type that is crispy on the outside and edges and fluffy inside the crust. Perfect dough. The sauce had robust flavor and the cheese was top quality too. I could tell that they put alot of pride in their pizzas, this is not cheap pizza like a franchise pizzas such as a $5 Pizza Pizza Little Caesar's deal...no, this is up to par as Italian restaurant quality. Distinguish the difference. And I am picky about pizza so this compliment is genuine. The pizza is top notch. The wings are also top quality. I can tell they were made fresh, juicy and tender and cooked all the way through but not dry from being under some heat lamp like some places I dined at. No these were fresh as if made to order. The wings were plump and juicy and coated in spicy buffalo sauce and served with ranch dressing. This is a five star pizza place but the prices are decent. I am now sold on their food and will be ordering from them in the future. VERY GOOD. The owner is very nice and accommodating, he said if there was any complaints that they will correct. But there were zero complaints, I was very satisfied and impressed. This is a family business and I support small businesses in the community. Give them a try, you will become a fan too. Cheers!
