It is very open and spacious with tables with computers and chairs spread throughout. There is also an area in the back for kids and even a play area. Self check out kiosks in the front which were very interesting and quick to use. My mini me and her baby came to get some books and have a little fun in the kids area before we headed home. The little one enjoyed her time exploring and choosing books too. I need to come back and renew my library card and see about checking some items out.

Be sure to bring ID, proof of residency, and certain financial information with you to help expedite the process. This office can be busy so come early to avoid really long waits. Vallejo City Hall is a very nice place and I'm giving stars JUST for the security lady who is just so cool and smiling and funny...great hire right there, city of Vallejo! Also thanks to the very patient folks in traffic division who are trying really hard to get everyone to go along with all the crazy changes we're seeing here in town. I like also that the information boards are full of great stuff to read and shows that transparency in government is alive here. Im actually looking forward to my next visit...weird I know, but true :)

Rather than call, we live close to this office so we decided to go in person. The security guard was super nice and friendly asking us what we came in to do and if we had an appointment. We did not, so we had to take a number and wait about 20 minutes or so. He was so kind and helpful to all, greeting them ad they walked in, and saying "ok have a great day" as they walked out. The lady that we saw was patient snd explained everything to us. We were only supposed to get one set of pages 1-14 and she entered all the answers into the system that we had already done, and as for what we needed clarification on, she was very helpful and cleared it up. 5 stars for her! She said we should expect to see another set of pages come in the next couple of weeks and if we had more questions to come and see her! A lot of it was repetitive, we had no problem filling it out, but my husband did go in person to turn it in rather than put it in the mail. ( This was right during the primary voting so we didn't want it to be delayed). This is a very long review , but I hope it encourages someone to go in, and get help or clarification on SS paperwork.

Their security guard on point, alert and in great service, he called me out when I was too close to the check in, unaware, he pointed to the red sign and politely asked me to wait further back to respect the privacy of others, he would assist the elderly when they couldn't hear the muffled audible calls or see the screen. I was deeply moved by all of this, and am grateful for the security and experience. Since I came in a little late I wasn't able to complete my appeal due to consideration for closing, yet I believe her name was Betty or Becky printed out all the steps and paperwork needed, I am grateful for she have the best service due to her limitations.

Staff were in a good mood interacting jokingly with the customers. When I gave them the notice it triggered an intense search. My staffer quickly realized something was wrong and ran a search over the tracking system. Turns out it was at a different PO. Compared to other local PO this branch was blazingly efficient. Morale was high. Recommend.

I also had a question to the guy taking photos and he was able to answer it even if not related to my visit. So much better and improved service as long as you complete all the requirements and documents.

I received a notice that I missed a package that requires a signature. That's why I'm here. The note said it's available for pickup at this Am Cyn location. They tell me it's in Vallejo. Wth? What happened to second attempts for delivery? I went online to schedule a ReDelivery. Website says that my package is both available for this service, and not available for the service. Ultimayely, It wouldn't let me Reschedule. So I head back to USPS Am Cyn, and... finally received my package. Now I'm glad it was there, but why wasnt it with a Carrier for ReDelivery? They only made one attempt.? All this Annex is good for is buying stamps having a PO box, or dropping off a pre-paid, labelled packages. Other than that, it's useless. I only live a block away, but I'm choosing to avoid this shack in the future if possible.
