New place! Was hoping for the best. Waitress was great- very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was clean, modern and comfortable. Bathrooms impeccable. Beer was good. However, limited menu. Do not offer: guacamole, beans, enchiladas, quesadillas, strawberry margaritas, etc. Chips were not free. Not sure if they are just trying to be cutting edge, by not offering standard fare. "Take THAT Yakima, we're fancy". Place was empty of customers, besides our table of four- except for one other family. And we were there for two hours! This restaurant has potential! Please offer a fuller menu! Promote special events and items! We want this place to succeed. Please be more menu friendly, you're not doing yourself any favors. Don't be tricked. Sign says brewery. It has a nice taproom, I was hoping for something like 10 barrel type food but the food is nothing like you'd normally find at a brewery, especially in Yakima, Wa. The menu is a lot of things most people have never eaten or even heard of. Quality is good but I got the impression the chef was an artist type who way over thinks food. I'm sure some people would appreciate the menu but I encourage you to read it before going there. We went on a Saturday evening and it wasn't busy at all. If this place served normalish food it would be packed. Atmosphere is good, service good, neat building. To me the menu was thought up by the type of person who uses big words to sound intelligent when a much simpler word would suffice. I don't visit swanky restaurants in cities like San Francisco but if I did this is what I'd expect the menu to look like. I had the lamb smash burger because it was one of two things on the menu that looked halfway appealing. 5/10. If you're into (overly?) creative food give it a try. Great new option for Yakima. Reserved a table for a large group, everyone was very accommodating. Great food, the sauces are very tasty. The plantains with crema are delicious. The menu is unique and delicious. The atmosphere is open and welcoming in the dining room. The brewery section has big TVs to watch sports. The waitress was friendly and helpful with choices. A wonderful dinning experience. The menu is exceptionally unique. The chef's approach to classic dishes is impressively refreshing. The plate presentation, thoughtful choice of quality ingredients and flavors were outstanding. We shared a delicious ceviche appetizer and I had the carnitas that was one of the specials of the night. The beer selection was worthy of our valley. We loved the expansive dining space and the olive tree anchoring the room was pretty spectacular. A table side visit from the chef and the excellent wait staff made the experience special. I am so happy to have this restaurant in Yakima and look forward to sharing this dining experience with friends and guests from out of town. Service was very good. Food, well, not so much. Husband enjoyed lamb burger, but it looked like too much bread for amount of meat. Steak taco was ok but the steak was not seasoned, not hot, and the lettuce on taco seemed to be wilted, like overdressed hours ago. The red sauce served with the taco was way too salty. The side of corn was good, but they need to cut the olives up--- and that would cut their costs... I agree with review below by Dan B.-- food menu needs help... I think the chef is overconfident and needs to relook at his menu. There is potential there, but they really need to get someone in to give their chef a real critic of the food. The beer was ok, the margarita very over priced. My husband said the atmosphere was like eating in a car dealership-- it just did not make any sense... It is definitely not a 5 star place... We were so excited to have a new brewery in Yakima/Terrace Heights! Baja Mexican food! We went on a Friday around 2:00. After a couple hiccups with our wing order, our server (who I forgot his name but he was amazing) made it right!! All of a sudden Chef Nick was at our table because he heard about the food issue. A diamond in a valley of coal! I never thought I would find this quality of food in Yakima! I have had the pleasure of dining at some amazing restaurants around the country. But I can honestly say that Chef Nick is absolutely amazing. The fusion of tastes explodes into a cacophony of joy. The service was outstanding as well. The wait staff is very nice, helpful and well informed on the menu items. The pairing of beer, wine or cider was absolutely perfect. Considering the level of culinary excellence the ambience was welcoming and very family friendly. It has been my experience that this level is usually found in a black tie establishment. Not here, everyone was in casual clothes, smiling, laughing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. The cost, especially with the quality and quantity of food was more than reasonable. We were charging at the nearby Walmart and thought why not get some beer and tacos at this place ? It looks nice! But ...This is absolutely the worst restaurant I have had ever had the displeasure of dining at. I felt like I was on an episode of kitchen nightmares. The wackiest menu I have ever seen. Carne asada tacos with pineapple, plantain, avocado, cheese, salsa and crema ?! Prices as high as restaurants in Hollywood ?! Not a single member of my party could finish their food...when asked for if we wanted boxes, we left hurriedly left .. our whole hour ey home was spent talking about how we should have just gotten snacks at Walmart. My advice: Serve simple tacos and Chelas. This is trying way too hard to be something that it doesn't need to be. The food is frankly disgusting. read more

I was so excited to come here. Decided to come with my friends since we like going out to eat and getting together when we aren't working. It was a busy night for them which I understand. Told the hostess we had a party of 8 and she seemed flustered because they only had 5 servers on... for a Friday and somewhat near grand opening.. interesting. We still got in quicker than I thought we would, I don't mind waiting. Our server was kind and took pretty good care of us. What was disappointing was the food and kitchen. We ordered at about 6:45 and our food didn't fully arrive until around 8:20. What bothered me the most was the food came out in increments. 3 people got their food, 15min later 2 other people got their food and then maybe another 15min the rest of our parties food arrived. Meanwhile I see other tables getting their food??? I worked in the restaurant business for 7 years and this can happen sometimes but not to this degree. After waiting over and hour for our food, it was very disappointing. I felt bad bc a lot of the party didn't enjoy their food. No one finished their meal and a couple people took one bite and was like NO!!! Stating "let's go to McDonald's." Thankfully the Birria tacos weren't terrible but not what I was expecting. On top of that gratuity was added which I understand bc we were a larger party and I know this wasn't the servers fault, but still. Overall I did not have a good experience here which makes me sad bc I was looking forward to a new place in town. Will we add this to our restaurant rotation??? Absolutely not.
