We randomly stopped in to check out those bourbons and ended up visiting 2 days in a row. First, I thought the whisky's needed a little more time to age before they are ready for sipping. With that being said the bartender makes AMAZING cocktails. Well balanced and tasty and compliment their spirits well fresh ingredients lovely presentation. The food we had was DELICIOUS! We were lucky enough to come on a night when the chef tried his hand at Pizza. Every one tries pizza but this was tasty from the crust to the toppings not too much or too little just right. I think I tasted a truffle oil finish on the crust? Customer service was top notch both nights. Friendly, informative and helpful. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoor patio to accommodate our dog and it did not disappoint. The indoor ambiance is warm and inviting. read more

This place is great. Every time we come here the service has been excellent, the cocktails are very well done, and the food exceeds my expectations. Tonight I had the pumpkin old fashioned and it was delicious. For food, we ordered the crispy chicken sliders and the bourbon board (charcuterie). Both were excellent but the board alone was enough food to feed us both. It would have easily fed 4 people. The distillation delivers every time we come here. read more

What a gem! The Distillarium is a great place to go if you like good drinks, good food, and friendly service. They distill their own spirits here, and you can be sure to find some interesting cocktails on the drink menu. I'm a whiskey lover, and I've enjoyed not only their whiskey cocktails, but also their whiskey sampler. Their whiskeys are super flavorful and unique in my opinion. As far as food goes, I've tried their Bourbon Salad with Steak, the Alchemy Loaded Fries, the Shrimp & Grits, the Chicken Cordon Bleu Sliders, and the Imperium Cheesecake Board, all of which I would (and will) eat again. They also have an outdoor patio, which is a lovely spot to hang out and enjoy the fresh air. In cooler weather they have heat lamps running. Amazing experience! Walked in to sample/taste the whisky, walked out educated by the owner, Kenny, with our private tour. The staff was exceptional and well educated on product. Yakima upping it's game - Distillarium is a great addition to the higher end nascent dinning and drinking scene. Young whiskey's and bourbons as they are still a new distillery, but with age they can only get better. I judge a location like this based on the Old Fashion - theirs is legit. Not overly sweet, hint of orange bitters and a square ice cube. The bourbon is a bit smoky on its own and has a smooth front end. Only downside - Seattle cocktail prices - for Yakima living. Don't let the location in the industrial zone fool you - it is a place on the move. read more

I was visiting Yakima from out of town and tried to go here with my family, a party of ten people. Despite plenty of space at the bar and open tables, we were told there was no room. I hate to say that it was a race thing, but the server and bartender did not seem to be interested in serving our Mexican family, which was quiet disappointing. I won't be returning here. read more

My visit was during the second week of being open. I do plan on returning very soon! Really excellent atmosphere, cocktails and service. I'm giving 4 stars because I wish that the drinks weren't so small. Service was great until we were done with our second round and were waiting for our check. My friend and I waited for 10 minutes. We were forgotten about when it started to get busy. I tried flagging the server down and I finally had to walk to the bar to speak with our server that we were ready for our check. He smiled and got us on our way within a few minutes. I'm excited for my next visit when I try their flights and other cocktails! read more
