I'm afraid, after years of taking my VW here for service and repairs, I am done. In one visit for…read morean oil change and brake inspection: - Tire lugs were tightened to approx. double the recommended torque, making it impossible to, for example, change a flat on the road. I broke a torque wrench rated at twice the torque the lugs were supposed to be tightened. This is the 2nd time they've done this to my car, and I told them about it the 1st time, too. - They recommended replacing 2 rear brake caliper because the handbrake was sticking. $1300 estimate. When asked if the caliper cylinders could be lubed, they had no other recommendations and insisted this was what it needed. Turns out that one of the caliper cylinders needed lubricating. Took me and my wife 15 minutes to fix it with a tiny squirt of WD-40. Works like new! Might fail again, but it's not a critical component, and we'll deal with it again then. - Recommended replacing the aging serpentine belt. I reminded them they'd replaced it 18 months ago. Whoops. An apology and "it has a couple little cracks in it, but that's normal and it should last a long time." I took a look: not a crack to be found. - They forgot to put the wheel lug caps (VWs come with black plastic caps) back on after removing the wheels for the brake inspection. When I called them about it, they'd lost some. They did order a 5-pack to replace the lost ones, so that was fixed. The real value I find in a car shop is knowing that they will recommend both the big fix, and the temporary one -- for when it's just not in our budget! And that I'm never being scammed.

My vehicle was making a noise that was indicative of valve roller rocker wear. Quite common on older Chrysler 3.6 L Pentastar engines. The repair facility I usually go to told me they do not perform this type of work. So I closed my eyes and threw a dart at my local yellow pages and it landed on Manyo motors. And I'm glad it did. I reached out to Dave Manyo and made an appointment. After diagnosing the issue, it turns out that the valve train was not the issue, but a broken flywheel. After replacing the flywheel - and performing additional work I had requested, I picked my van up on the day he promised. Dave produced the broken and cracked flywheel for my inspection. I told him to keep it for his collection of broken flywheels proudly displayed as art on his wall behind his desk. Thank you to Dave and his competent staff for their professionalism and expertise in repairing my vehicle. .....and as Arnold famously once said in the Terminator "I'll be back!!"

They did a good job on the car and had a detailed report plus the oil change for a very fair price but honestly I'll probably go somewhere else next time cause its just less convenient when they don't have an adequate waiting room for people getting something quick done.

Recently a few months back I had work done and a Part was put on incorrectly despite other parts of the same type were put on correctly. This part however had to do with my alignment and was pulling my tire to the right however just in the front of the tire and not rear as well which caused my other suspension and chassis parts to wear out faster, then recently I got work done to replace those said worn out parts and was promised he would fix his error... This time he charged me 3x what he quoted me, lied about the amount of labor time it took, lied about getting an alignment done because if that was the case the part would be turned properly and not still pulling to the right.... I then informed it wasn't fixes and he held my truck overnight only to tell me it's fixed and when I got there it wasn't... He then proceeded to tell me that I needed to take it elsewhere and have them correct it.... His error, under his warranty.... But more importantly his Word.... I wouldn't recommend bringing your vehicle here if you don't want more problems prior to your arrival at his shop!!
