I've had my car there 3 times for service since they first opened their doors a few months ago. In…read moreeach case, I was totally satisfied with the quality of the work done. The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.

I can't say a 5-star rating can be given for every Firestone in the area, but I will give one to…read morethis one due to its manager, Tom. Like every business right now he works closely with his team and even when they are spread thin he will jump on the line and start getting his hands dirty to keep things moving and getting vehicles in and out. He takes the time to explain the "why" for things when he is doing evaluations on your vehicle, especially if you're not a car aficionado. He is trustworthy, fair with pricing and wants to build a long-term relationship when helping with your vehicle, so that you keep coming back through your years and your cars. He's also always very responsive and often handles the phones to make sure he's understanding your needs and asks lots of good questions to make sure to try and diagnose some things ahead of time before you bring it in.

This discount tire is terrible! don't ever go here they will scam you! I went here on Tuesday, they…read moretold me I needed new inner and outer tie rods. they charged me $85 just to look at my car. they said I could get it replaced and done for $434. I said no and I left. My stepdad who is a mechanic was going to help me replace them. the parts costed ($100). When we took finally we're getting ready to fix it we realized they completely lied! I did not need to replace the inner tie rod. I compared all of the new parts we bought to the parts that they said were "bent" and needed to be replaced. you can clearly See nothing is bent. I am so mad. and if I would have gotten this done they would have scammed me out of $649(before tax) without me even knowing. they were going to charge me $131 to do my wheel alignment. I am absolutely so mad! I am calling corporate tomorrow because this is absolutely ridiculous. hopefully this steers you away from ever going here!

Please pass my suggestions along: 1. Communication is key. If your customer will be waiting longer than your advertised times, alert them. Communication goes along way. Waiting over an hour for a 10 minute oil change??? (Have you seen your commercials) 2. Motivate/encourage your employees. Watching your employees walking around like the walking dead was very sad, it seems to add to the overall wait time, they moved so slow that I thought time was moving backwards. 3. Have them greet your customers. when i was finally lead into the bay, the mechanic didn't greet me, say hello or anything. I sat there for 30 to 40 minutes wondering what was going on. ( see point number 1) 4. Treat property with respect. One of the helpers took out my air filter and threw it on my engine. Although it's just a filter, it's my property. Treat it as such. 5. Lastly, this might seem small but the take 5 I normally go to on North Avenue in Milwaukee does this every time I go there, after they are done with the oil change, they bring the dipstick to me so that I can see the fresh oil and that it is to the correct level before they have me start the car. For me, these things matter. I said everything else in my first post. Sorry it's long. D.
