Located on Keyser Avenue near a strip of other stores, this location isn't difficult to find. Likewise, there's plenty of parking available for a quick visit. I've only ever been here for dry-cleaning, so I can't speak on the do-it-yourself laundry services. The dry cleaning, however, has always been excellent. They've gotten out tough stains and my clothes have never shown signs of wear or fading. The reason for 4 stars is because, while the service is good, it's not as fast as they advertise. Definitely not one hour... more like a few days. If you send something in on Monday, depending on the amount and time you drop your clothes off, you'll likely be able to pick it up on Wednesday. Apparently, it's one-hour dry-cleaning if you're there before a certain time in the morning, but that's on speculation and I've never confirmed that. Maybe it's time for some due diligence. Additionally, the staff isn't super friendly. Not mean, just not the type to really smile at you...at least in my experience. Last notes: since COVID, the hours here haven't been as good as they used to be. They open at 7 am and close at 3 pm, M-F, 7 am -12 pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. Not great if you have to work during those hours. Overall, I've never had issues here. While they're not as fast as advertised, the service is good enough for me to keep returning.

The new owners are not cleaning the clothes on the premises. When I went to pick up my shirts on the day they were due and they could not locate them as I waited for 45 minutes. The person who was at the counter is part of the new ownership and is totally incompetent. She finally called someone to find out the tags or slips are falling off and would be there the next day. When I went there the next day, they were still not ready. She said they may arrive the next day after 2:00pm. I asked them for a discount of any amount just for my inconvenience. The person at the counter called her manager and I spoke to her on the phone and after I explained my situation she said no discount. I asked her if she still wants my business. She said NO. Thank God it was a small order. The total for the two shirts was just 6.50. All I wanted was something to tell me they respected and appreciated my business with them. Even a dollar or two. Now I will never go back and will tell everyone I know this story. No Business Acumen and another example of a new owner coming in a screwing up a business that had been around 70 or 80 years.

The other was a suit I had worn once. I bought that suit from a very reputable store and their tailor did the alterations on it. I was foolish and did not try it on until the day before I was going to wear it to a wedding. Holy crap! The pants were way too short and the sleeves on the jacket were not only short but uneven. I had no choice but wear it and looked like a clown. I brought both suits to Ann Harrington at Take me to the cleaners and she could not help but laugh when I showed her a picture of me in the suit. Ann said she would do what she could but that I shouldn't expect too much. The outcome was unbelievable. She had to add extra fabric to the pants and the sleeves because the butcher had not left enough material. Absolutely everything fit perfectly! What a fantastic job she did. The pants were supposed to be 29 inches and Ann measured then and said they were 23. I thought I was going to have to thrown the suit away but thanks to Ann I now have 2 suits that fit beautifully. Old fashion quality and workmanship and at a reasonable price. Could not ask for more and I will NEVER go any place else again. Thank you so much Ann, you are great. These people that run this place are rude and racist…read more Our dryer broke and I had to take the wet clothes to be dried. I was told I cannot PAY to use the dryer unless I wash my clothes there. WTF you are a laundromat. Not like they are cheap or have new machines. I could also understand if they ran a dryer promo or something. It's a shitty laundry in the middle of the worst part of Scranton. Seems like racism because I was the only white lady in there and was refused service and told to leave. I only went there because we were going to eat dinner nearby. Wound up going to the local laundromat in Dunmore.
