Beware!! New Owners who do not know what they are doing. I am a 20 year customer and loved all the people who worked there and never had a problem until now. The new owners are not cleaning the clothes on the premises. When I went to pick up my shirts on the day they were due and they could not locate them as I waited for 45 minutes. The person who was at the counter is part of the new ownership and is totally incompetent. She finally called someone to find out the tags or slips are falling off and would be there the next day. When I went there the next day, they were still not ready. She said they may arrive the next day after 2:00pm. I asked them for a discount of any amount just for my inconvenience. The person at the counter called her manager and I spoke to her on the phone and after I explained my situation she said no discount. I asked her if she still wants my business. She said NO. Thank God it was a small order. The total for the two shirts was just 6.50. All I wanted was something to tell me they respected and appreciated my business with them. Even a dollar or two. Now I will never go back and will tell everyone I know this story. No Business Acumen and another example of a new owner coming in a screwing up a business that had been around 70 or 80 years. read more

I have been to this location for dry-cleaning on several occasions, and they've never given me an issue. Located on Keyser Avenue near a strip of other stores, this location isn't difficult to find. Likewise, there's plenty of parking available for a quick visit. I've only ever been here for dry-cleaning, so I can't speak on the do-it-yourself laundry services. The dry cleaning, however, has always been excellent. They've gotten out tough stains and my clothes have never shown signs of wear or fading. The reason for 4 stars is because, while the service is good, it's not as fast as they advertise. Definitely not one hour... more like a few days. If you send something in on Monday, depending on the amount and time you drop your clothes off, you'll likely be able to pick it up on Wednesday. Apparently, it's one-hour dry-cleaning if you're there before a certain time in the morning, but that's on speculation and I've never confirmed that. Maybe it's time for some due diligence. Additionally, the staff isn't super friendly. Not mean, just not the type to really smile at you...at least in my experience. Last notes: since COVID, the hours here haven't been as good as they used to be. They open at 7 am and close at 3 pm, M-F, 7 am -12 pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. Not great if you have to work during those hours. Overall, I've never had issues here. While they're not as fast as advertised, the service is good enough for me to keep returning. read more

I don't really use much dry cleaning or Tailoring but Mercury Cleaners when they had their other location in 2010 on Main Avenue they fixed the zipper on my brand new Timberland coat they did a wonderful job it's still holding up until this day I highly recommend them they don't take you to the cleaners you're already there no seriously they're fairly priced even their washing machine read more

I have visited several times needing to wash quilts. Prices are reasonable. Staff is helpful and friendly. Establishment is clean. I do wish that they had a restroom for the public. read more

My first trip they misplaced the two items I brought in. They took my number and called me a few hours later. When I picked them up I was told "no charge". Now that's customer service. I have patronized this place many times since and would recommend. I'm very pleased with their service and how my clothes are done right. read more

Apparently they have a cut off for their "one hour" cleaners, 11:00am, I walked in at 10:58 and the older lady sniped no your too late.This is not posted anywhere on their website. Don't advertise what great grandpa started if you can't maintain the standard. Spotless cleaners is much friendlier. read more
