The other was a suit I had worn once. I bought that suit from a very reputable store and their tailor did the alterations on it. I was foolish and did not try it on until the day before I was going to wear it to a wedding. Holy crap! The pants were way too short and the sleeves on the jacket were not only short but uneven. I had no choice but wear it and looked like a clown. I brought both suits to Ann Harrington at Take me to the cleaners and she could not help but laugh when I showed her a picture of me in the suit. Ann said she would do what she could but that I shouldn't expect too much. The outcome was unbelievable. She had to add extra fabric to the pants and the sleeves because the butcher had not left enough material. Absolutely everything fit perfectly! What a fantastic job she did. The pants were supposed to be 29 inches and Ann measured then and said they were 23. I thought I was going to have to thrown the suit away but thanks to Ann I now have 2 suits that fit beautifully. Old fashion quality and workmanship and at a reasonable price. Could not ask for more and I will NEVER go any place else again. Thank you so much Ann, you are great. Wish I could offer more than 5 stars.

I don't leave reviews often but this place deserves one. I've brought probably 5-10 garments here…read morein the last year ranging from casual linen jackets, sport coats, dress pants, jeans, chinos, etc. I have received nothing but great work. Stitching always seems to be done well and clean. Biggest complaint is that there's always a few loose threads on my clothes when I get them back, but this doesn't warrant taking away a star. I've hand things done from a normal hem, cuffed hem, sport coat sleeve shortened, coat sleeve shortened and it's all been good work. It's not the cheapest place I've been too in the area, but I've been to other tailor shops that have done work not even close to this shop. It's the old saying that you get what you pay for. Overall, this place definitely deserves more stars. Quality work at a fair price. If you know how to walk in and tell them what you want done, I don't think you'll have any problem.

I took a new sweater there (only worn twice) to be cleaned, it came back with hair all over it and a blue spot on the top of the sleeve that wasn't there when I took it in. I took it back and when I picked it up, my sweater was destroyed. Not only was the stain still there but because Summit Cleaners scrubbed the spot with some kind of solvent the area feels hard and the fibers are now stretched causing the sleeve to be 2 inches longer than the other sleeve. I immediately took the sweater back to Summit Cleaners and the women at the counter agreed with me that the sweater was ruined. She took my information and said the owner, Peter Patel, would call me in the morning. Of course, he did not and I had to track him down. After describing the situation and sending him pictures he told me that they do not take any responsibility for items that are brought in to be cleaned. "You bring them in at your own risk", was what he said. He refuses to do anything about my destroyed sweater!!
