I…read morewas on my way to Fairfield so I didn't have the cycle back and go to Richmond and then come back through where I was in San Pablo on up to Fairfield. But when in line, I noticed that the line was not progressing very well and took a long time. It took me a while to realize that that was because there were only two pumps in each lane instead of three. I don't know why they didn't get the memo, but that third pump is a game changer. They need to have this year because those lines were lasting so long. Another issue is that the vehicle behind me was a truck with the camper trailer. When it was done, it could not go around me because it was so big. Another issue would've been have they gone to the first prompt where I was and then no one would've been able to use the second pump. so having a third pump is really good thing and I have no idea why they didn't do that. But the oil was what it was as expected and I got a good price for it so I was happy about that. So, this would not be my first place to come by because of the pump action and the fact that is very slow. But if I needed gas and was in the area, I may consider stopping by. But I know that if I had enough gas in my car, I just go to Richmond and fill up my tank.

I'm compelled to complain that the last 2 times I bought beef that when I went to cook them the day after purchase that they are on the verge. Both times I was too guilt ridden to accept they were spoiled, so I attempted to cook them up. Only to waste more ingredients and time. Is it normal for the beef to be expected to use same day of purchase? I can't imagine its just a day off. I'm not going to be purchasing meat there anymore. Such a waste, as I had already started cooking and dividing things up, discard packaging, that I don't have time to bring spoiled meats back to make a return. I also had an upsetting interaction with the employee scanning cards at the entrance. I am not a typical early bird, so when I checked google for what time Costco opens I saw 9am. The lady greeted us with enthusiasm which was nice. But as soon as she scanned my card she was so excited to tell me that I am not an not the right type of membership to enter at 9. I had to ask her to repeat herself probably 3 times because she seemed really happy and excited to tell me that i'd gotten something wrong. And was very rude! She just seemed to escalate it unnecessarily. She then started informing other employees of me as if I was trying to create a heist. I was wondering if we may eat at the food court and that was also a big fat NO! I only spend hell of money at Costco to be treated like dirt for not knowing. I don't drink coffee anymore so theres that. But her manners were awful. Anyway I doubt anyone cares, but maybe some attention is needed in those areas if they do.

I think some of the reviews are confusing this place with the large full service Chevron near Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Half the photos shown on this Yelp listing are the wrong place. This Chevron is across the street from a Denny's. I was here on a weekday to meet a coworker at around 6pm. I went inside to buy some snacks. There was an armed security guard wearing a tactical vest standing near the door as soon as I walked in. The clerk was sitting low behind the counter. He stood up when I said "hello." The clerk and I chatted a bit, and he gave me a deal on snacks. I didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment on that. The food mart has a big selection of coffee and cold drinks. The gas islands are a bit narrow. It might be tough for an RV or a truck pulling a trailer. Better use the bigger Chevron near Six Flags. This Chervon is near the freeway ramps, so it's easy to get back on the road. Also, Kaiser Hospital is nearby at 975 Sereno Drive. Welcome to Vallejo, watch your surroundings. Be safe!

This gas station belongs in a Stephen King novel. Women, if you're alone, don't fill up here at…read morenight. From first look, it ticks all the boxes: Lots of pumps, in the same lot as a drive through Starbucks, it's right by the freeway entrance. But the way it's organized, I saw two near-misses of people backing out of the parking spots outside Starbucks, too close to the area around the gas pumps behind it. The pump kept shutting off every half gallon, it was a joke. Determined to make it work, I tried the catch on the pump (didn't work) then just tried different pressures to keep the gas flowing. After I filled up and moved outside Starbucks. I got seriously eyeballed in the most predatory way by this guy who then parked across the frontage road and watched me from his rear view mirror. There's a weird vibe around this station, I wouldn't stop here after dark.
