Great gas station! The place is big and very well stocked. They have a wide selection of beer, all kinds of candy, and their prices are surprisingly cheap compared to other places. Secret gas rationing? Limited purchase to $ 50? Does not allow you to reuse card again? (I checked with Amex, no such limitation) Beware of Valero gas station on 2817 Redwood Pkwy. in Vallejo, CA corner of Adm. Callaghan Lane. What you get there is Imposing an unannounced not advertised absurd $50 gas limit and then blocking your (Amex) credit card? So you can not fill up not even at another pump station!?!?!? With a $50 purchase limit and $6.45 a gallon premium you end up with 7 3/4 gallons of gas! I had to return a rental truck with a full tank as I received it. 7 3/4 gallons was not enough! Now because of that the hustle having to find another gas station!! Lastly charges will not appear as "Valero" gas or the like but some dubious "Bonfare Market". Researching through Google maps I eventually find that "Bonfare Market" 36 is in some less desirable neighborhood in Vallejo, an area I've never ever been to, never would go to or ever been nowhere near. What else you get? Some added fraudulent charges! The secretly without any indication $50 limit on gas purchases at the pump and they apparently will use your card to add a few [fraudulent] charges. Today Tuesday, July 5, 2022 I see two charges as indicated above on my online credit card statement. $ 50.00 BONFARE MARKET 36 00VALLEJO CA $ 23.10 BONFARE MARKET 36 00VALLEJO CA So what's the $23.10? All I did was trying to gas up the rental truck when I got cut off at $50. The gas purchase limit is silently imposed without any preceding indication or information. furthermore their system blocks any further purchases. I cannot use my card anymore at that gas station. Huge convenience mart at the Valero gas station. Had several varieties of coffee but no creamer and their dry cream was empty. Friendly staff though and tons of great snack choices for a road trip. read more

Stopped here for Milk and a few Gatorades, neither rang up at the advertised price. FRAUD ALERT. Beware this market not only overcharges, but runs your credit/debit card for other amounts after your purchase. I bought 3 sodas then 3 days later received another charge for $37.I reported fraud to my bank and got a new card. A huge hassle for 3 sodas from a horrible, shady market. read more

The people at this Bonfare are really nice, especially the older people that are there in the morning. Gas is cheap. Snacks/drinks are cheap. It can get super hyphy here at night on weekends so if you're a chick wear pants and a turtle neck (unless your plan is to flirt with a ghetto dude). Don't buy any canned soup, Cup o' Noodles, Kimchee Bowls, or anything of that nature here. One morning I grabbed a Campbell's Soup to Go and jetted out when my husband noticed it was really really dusty. When he looked at it he found it expired 3 years prior. EWW! I ran back and asked if I could switch it. They said sorry and of course but I couldn't find ONE thing in that aisle that wasn't expired. It makes me sad to say that... but like I said this is the only time I've had a negative experience at Bonfare. Please let that deter you from purchasing can/soup products, but don't let that stop you from coming to Bonfare for other needs. read more

Good selection of snacks and drinks. Store is pretty big for a convenience store. We often stop by here to pick up milk on our way back from our trips. They always have it in stock unlike many other convenience stores. Good Gas prices. There are only four pumps in a very narrow area. So it can get a little tight. Store is right next to Little Caesars. Good place to get a cold 2L soda along with your pizza. read more

There is a large selection of alcohol combined with a mini market for a pit stop. The Asian guy in the front (sorry I dont know his name) is really nice. He helped me make a decision on which vodka to get. I got the Berry flavored Ciroc and it was on sale reasonably priced. He raved about it and said you can take shots and barely taste the alcohol and he was sure right lol Lots of people come here and I ran into people I knew including an old best guy friend here from San Jose. What a coincidence! It's right off the main street and near my house on the way to hit the freeway. Easy to grab your alcohol and go. read more

Came into this Bonfare Market around noon to play my mega lottery numbers. The guy at the counter (2 Indian looking guys) says his lottery machine doesn't open until 3 p.m. I looked at him and said what kind of place is this? A lottery machine doesn't have hours, it's automatically available anytime of the day that your store operates (DUH?). Do you know how to operate a lottery ticket machine? He just looked at me dumb found and proceeded to help the next customer while ignoring me. Hello, dumb ass I'm here to play my lottery tickets. What kind of place opens their lottery machine at 3 p.m, this is late and very inconvenient when your store is open way before? I mean if you don't know how to operate the machine due to lack of training skills or whatever, just say so instead of LIEING. It's frustrating to go to a business place that has a lottery machine, but the employee doesn't have a clue how to work the machine to help customers such as myself. Why the hell would the owner put a lottery machine in their store if it's not operating during business hours or your employees are clueless on learning how to operate a lottery machine? I came in at noon before and your lottery machine was working fine with the previous owners. The time of 3 p.m. Is too LATE to have your lottery machine work, people don't have time to come back that late to do their numbers such as myself. It's very rude to ignore me as a customer & help the next customer when you weren't even addressing my concern with my lottery ticket. I don't know about anyone else but I've gone into there several times and one day I went in and there was a lady trying to return milk which prompted me to check the expiration date on the products there she claimed that she got the milk from them and it was expired that the carton was swollen and she wanted to return th item for a refund, that her husband had already replaced it elsewhere..he refused, stating that she needs to see the supervisor in the morning. Unfortunately, I too had to return to Bonfare (that same evening) for a cash back return..(I had gone elsewhere for the sauces) so I decided to check out the items on the shelves. There were toooo many things that were expired!! I told the man at the register about th expired items and he looked at me dumb founded, then turned to look the co-worker (which I believe was a supervisor). I went back maybe 3 weeks 4 Weeks Later and there were still a many items on the shelves that were expired.. some even as far back as 2015. That's when I got p/o'd!! It was one of the same two people (an older guy) as three/ four weeks prior. I told them they know they have expired items on the shelves and it's not right that the people spending their money here are probably low-income because of the neighborhood and they're selling them products that are expired!! I actually took pictures the second time. That was probably 3 weeks ago. I did some Googling and I found out that is not necessarily against the law and in India it is practiced and is very legal!!?? Well sufficed to say.. what is practiced in their native area has been now brought to America. So people beware when you go into Bonfare on Redwood in Vallejo don't do it, don't do it..check your items the section I went to had the taco sauce, cup o noodle soups, macaroni and cheese, cold cereals.... read more
