They were laughing and carrying on, they walked off different directions. I pulled on the door to open it, and heard laughter from a car. I looked over, and it was the woman who walked out before we got out of the vehicle. We got back in the car, and started to leave when I noticed someone walking over from the pump, being a polite person I let her know that the doors were locked. This woman walked over anyway tugged on the door, and went back to her car and drove off as did we. When I looked in my rearview mirror, I saw the woman in her car laughing. The sad thing is; she's an employee. The woman didn't put a sign on the door to notify customers that they were closed, or would be back.

Secondly bathrooms are not a right they are a privilege. When someone has abused this privilege we as employees leads or managers may shut these bathrooms down for any given period we see fit. There are times when we must control the flow of traffic within the store as well during even on our busiest days sometimes these days these bathrooms will be closed so we can control the flow of traffic. For example if an arvo AmPm is located one block from a major high school some times after school the bathrooms may be closed to control the flow of students and customers coming in and out of the store​. Thirdly if you are going to complain about being charged 35 cents in debt card charges to buy gas or food maybe you should not be driving or eating what your complaining about. . I've seen so many homeless people come in with change and never complain but the privileged with debit cards or credit cards and cars that can afford their vehicles or gas are the first people to complain about charges. But when in line, I noticed that the line was not progressing very well and took a long time. It took me a while to realize that that was because there were only two pumps in each lane instead of three. I don't know why they didn't get the memo, but that third pump is a game changer. They need to have this year because those lines were lasting so long. Another issue is that the vehicle behind me was a truck with the camper trailer. When it was done, it could not go around me because it was so big. Another issue would've been have they gone to the first prompt where I was and then no one would've been able to use the second pump. so having a third pump is really good thing and I have no idea why they didn't do that. But the oil was what it was as expected and I got a good price for it so I was happy about that. So, this would not be my first place to come by because of the pump action and the fact that is very slow. But if I needed gas and was in the area, I may consider stopping by. But I know that if I had enough gas in my car, I just go to Richmond and fill up my tank.

From first look, it ticks all the boxes: Lots of pumps, in the same lot as a drive through Starbucks, it's right by the freeway entrance. But the way it's organized, I saw two near-misses of people backing out of the parking spots outside Starbucks, too close to the area around the gas pumps behind it. The pump kept shutting off every half gallon, it was a joke. Determined to make it work, I tried the catch on the pump (didn't work) then just tried different pressures to keep the gas flowing. After I filled up and moved outside Starbucks. I got seriously eyeballed in the most predatory way by this guy who then parked across the frontage road and watched me from his rear view mirror. There's a weird vibe around this station, I wouldn't stop here after dark.

Upon entering the store I was approaching the counter, I was met with a negative attitude from Karen. She spoke to me in a rude tone and appeared irritated without any clear reason. I think some of the reviews are confusing this place with the large full service Chevron near Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Half the photos shown on this Yelp listing are the wrong place. This Chevron is across the street from a Denny's. I was here on a weekday to meet a coworker at around 6pm. I went inside to buy some snacks. There was an armed security guard wearing a tactical vest standing near the door as soon as I walked in. The clerk was sitting low behind the counter. He stood up when I said "hello." The clerk and I chatted a bit, and he gave me a deal on snacks. I didn't use the restroom, so I can't comment on that. The food mart has a big selection of coffee and cold drinks. The gas islands are a bit narrow. It might be tough for an RV or a truck pulling a trailer. Better use the bigger Chevron near Six Flags. This Chervon is near the freeway ramps, so it's easy to get back on the road. Also, Kaiser Hospital is nearby at 975 Sereno Drive. Welcome to Vallejo, watch your surroundings. Be safe!
