This particular location is on the smaller side, so I can't even imagine how huge the larger locations are. There's a wide variety of souvenirs from apparel and home goods to even pet items. Towards the back, you'll find a deli, a wall of specialty beef jerky, tons of snacks, plus brisket sandwiches and desserts, including fudge. We ended up spending a good amount of time here before getting back on the road. You can sample the jerky. I really liked the Honey Jalapeño and Maple Cherry (on the sweeter side). It's close to the highway with easy access. There's a hundred gas pumps. There are multiple entrances to the store. Even at 1pm on a weekday, it was BUSY! Inside, there's that Buc-ee's smell that hits you hard. Candied nuts and fresh brisket. And all the other stuff you can see - jerky and fudge and soda fountains and Icees and a wall of candy. It's practically a ritual. Of course, we had to stop to visit the restrooms. Mrs. K. confirmed that the ladies side was excellent and I could see that the men's side was clean. I love the red/green lights to let you know which stalls are available or not. In addition to the fridge magnet, Mrs. K. added a BUC-EE'S ballcap to the collection along with two bags of the caramel drizzled Beaver Nuggets.
