It feels like they treat everyone who walks in like we are potential criminals and are watched like crazy. The place itself feels dingy and a bit creepy. But it generally is pretty well stocked so I suppose they have that going for them. Staff seem bothered that they have to ring out your order, especially if you have a question. It is convenient based on location when I work at the Benedum, but I generally try to avoid it if I can.

I…read moreunderstand that this area has a lot of undesired activities going on due to the nature of the location but having ridiculous policies and using hired security to enforce them is NOT THE ANSWER. Apparently, no one is allowed to use their cell phone while shopping. That is the newest mandate imposed by this location. God forbid you answer a call or text before you pour your cup of (overpriced) coffee. You will be approached. I swear it felt like an old western saloon scene where the sheriff saw me "breaking the rules" and had to come down and give me a passive aggressive talking to. Disclaimer - most of the clerk staff - they are very helpful and totally cool. But the general manager/owner is another story all together. If she has not yet been sued for harassment - that would be a shock. I feel bad for the staff who has to enforce her whimsical policies. She is obviously at her wit's end if there ever was a beginning. Hitler and Goebbles would have been proud of her determination and use of propaganda though. If you decide this place has everything you are looking for in a convenience store - have your papers ready!

The biggest problem here is how many ways you can enter this place. It makes for using the pumps a bit dangerous. Added to that is the tightness of the lot. If you are at a pump and someone pulls up front end to your car, either wait or take your chance at attempting to back out of the pump. Inside is the typical items you would find for a convenience store. Not a whole lot of selection but enough to get by. Staff appear to be pleasant, which makes for a little bit better of an experience.
