Spacious gas station on the way up to Arrowhead. The gas was actually cheaper than I saw in the city. Also they have diesel fuel and that was cheaper than what I've been seeing at other gas stations. Had no issues pumping here! Good experience overall! read more

The people who work here are great but the card readers on many of the gas pumps are broken. I'm always in a rush so I just have to use another gas station which is a bummer because this one is so conveniently located. read more

Easy access on and off the highway, and always well supplied, and always open. This is a small community Mini Mart & Fueling Station, which has a big impact on the mountain, and where locals have come to heavily rely on this little business, as do the flatlanders. Prices are bit higher, but we're paying for availability. I thought about giving 4 stars because of this, but I understand the challenges of keeping a business running, and if you're not making a profit, you're no longer in business. read more

I want to start by saying the employees here are kind, friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and stocked. However, they got a" new" Laser Car Wash system and I have to say please don't waste your time or money in that car wash. I know they thought they were upgrading but really all this does is get the dust off of your car. Because it is new and upgraded they of course raised the prices which is to be expected. I got the most expensive car wash which is only 14 dollars but after driving out I pulled over in the parking lot to check how it did because my windshield was still gross and so was the rest of the Jeep after looking at it. I did go in and tell them what had happened and they let me go thru again free of charge however again it was better but not up to par even for a drive thru car wash. I would only recommend the car wash here if you are only trying to get dust off of your car. Unfortunately with my health conditions I am unable to wash my car by hand however from now on my car will go down the mountain to a real car wash. Again I just want to stress that everything else about the store is a 5 star store for a convenience store it is only the car wash I am disappointed in. read more

Large, well lit self service gas station on Hwy 18. Has a large convenience store and window service Mexican food restaurant inside, an ATM, plus the only carwash I know of near Crestline and Lake Arrowhead. The carwash is a mediocre-at-best, drive through, automated type with rotating brushes and high pressure jets, I was very unimpressed with the results. The 50¢ vacuum was a much better value - I was able to service my whole minivan for $1.50. They also have pay air and water if you need it. Overall worth the stop, and better than many other options around. read more

Definitely deserves a couple stars, but not more. This place used to have good prices, and they seemed to cater to locals. The prices are just as high and higher, in fact, as real name-brand gas stations. Valero gas should never cost what they charge here. Gas prices are pretty outrageous! I only give them a couple of stars for convenience and the friendly staff inside the convenience store. read more

Easy access for East bound traffic. Not bad for West bound. A big clean Valero. Gasoline prices are always fair, always. Fast food, coffee, etc. one restroom per gender. At least one fast food concession inside. Valero does great job in providing a place for providing a "General Store" in the mountains. Located on the South Side of the Highway. read more

This place has some of the best staff on the mountain! I love that they are 24 hours and that they don't try to gouge the gas prices up just because of the tourist season. Has plenty of room in the parking lot to maneuver around and get to their many pumps. Only downside is that if you go later than ten, you get this annoying crowd of teenagers and young adults who are the poster children for why animals in the wild eat thier young. But hey, the staff manage to deal with this kids fantastically and honestly, the overnight guys tend to be my favorite! read more

"local flavor" maybe, but more due to Alberto's rather then Valero. It's a nice pit stop but nothing to write home about. If your going to get gas try and fill up at the bottom of the hill, it will probably be much cheaper. The 76 on North E St. / West 30th St. in San Bernardino usually has pretty good prices. read more

Great gas station and staff. Bathroom is clean and tidy every time I have used it. Fully stocked mini mart and walk up counter Mexican food which many locals tell me has good food. It has the only car wash (automated type) on the mountain (a do it yourself coin car wash in Running Springs). It does a decent job. It is one of the few 24 gas stations on the mountain. It has always felt safe here even 2 a.m. getting gas. Staff are nice! read more

Decent place for gas and a car wash. Decent selection of beers, and friendly people. I find myself stopping here on occasion. Some of thier items are over priced but that's part for the course on the mountain. read more

Gas is a better price than other stations. They have coffee cups that still burn your hand thru especially if you drink tea with hot water. They don't have sleeves and you would have to pay for 2 coffees to double the cup. I don't recommend getting coffee there. The car wash never works either. read more

Car wash at Valero Rim Firest is broken all the time. Drive in next to car wash entrance around back of station to pay by credit card. Credit cards NEVER work, seriously NEVER. When you ask inside station they say credit card at car wash around side never works! Even as there is a slot to use credit cards of all kinds at entrance, none work. You can pay cash at same entrance to car wash entrance but inserting $10 bill for premimum wash routinely rejects the bill. So, you have to then use call button off the payment machine if an inside person who if hears it comes out tries to open door to car wash to let you drive through to get out or if you try to back up if there are other cars behind you you're blocked in. Now, if you are blocked in & no one comes out from call button to let you out, you have to physically get out of your car, walk inside, tell them you're stuck until they're free to come out & let you out! Only way to consider using car wash is to first pay inside for wash. They give you a code to put in at car wash entrance ( if it works?) then, you can get a C- quality car wash. I kid you not. read more

For the second time in just a few weeks, I have bought gas with the intention of also using the CAR WASH which I intended to put on my VALERO card.. And, for the second time after buying gas at 10 cents per gallon more than the other Valero's in the area, a usage fee for the "in"-convenience I suppose, after filling my tank with gas, the receipt printed out and said the car wash will only accept cash today. Well, I didn't bring cash to pay for a car wash! So, what a total waste of my time and money. read more

The one main thing going for this place is 'Angies'. Pretty great mexican food, hotspot for high school students nearby.
